while we are getting ready for the draft (Miller will give direction about rankings), we are getting FA lists together.

-If you want to decline the QO for any of your RFA's you must post in the transactions thread by the end of the draft that you are not offering the QO, which would make that player a UFA. If you do not post, the QO is extended and theat player is a cap hold (cap hold is more then QO) and the player could sign the 1 year tender

- If your player has a partial guarantee or TO for 2012 that has not been guaranteed yet, and you wish to waive the player, you must do so before FA starts. and TO that is not picked up by the end of the draft will become guaranteed. partial guaranteed contracts usually become fully guaranteed once FA starts, so you need to waive the player before FA starts. You must post that you waive the player, simply do not delet him from your roster

- fully UNG contracts usually do not need to be waived untill the start of the season

Miller will correct any info here that he disagrees with

The Raptors have decided to buyout Vince Carters remaining year on his contract (he has a 4M buyout option). This makes Vince a UFA and able to explore options this off season. (going to post in trades as well)
