Jordan is copying the Knicks and the Nets

Post#1 » by countryboi » Tue Mar 1, 2011 5:31 pm

By moving Wallace, they increase their likelihood of getting the first pick in the NBA Draft. They will have a great deal of cap space since they have acquired four expiring contracts from the trade deadline. The key thing to remember is that with Wallace gone, the Bobcats will officially enter rebuilding mode.

With pieces like Tyrus Thomas, D.J. Augustin, and many first-round draft picks, the Bobcats might even be able to make a move similar to the one the Nets made for Deron Williams. We never thought the Jazz would move Williams, so you never know if the Bobcats could pull off a similar deal for Chris Paul. It would make sense after all, since Paul is from North Carolina.

Well the likehood IS bigger now right? It is still out of question but we have good chances to even be in the lottery now than before the trade.

Only IF we get lucky like the Bulls when they landed the 1st pick from 8th.

I don't think the Bulls were lucky to get that pick. I think it was something more sinister.

But it would be nice to have a #1 pick thrown our way for the crap we've had to deal with.

Even if we tanked, I think we would have a 1-3% chance of getting the first overall pick.

I wouldn't bet at those odds.

We'd use it on the Jimmer and he would flame out by his 3rd season.

It has us picking him at #10. I did it several times until it had the Bobcats picking #1, and they had us taking Kyrie.

Knicks didn't have a plan, they got lucky being in one of the most attractive cities in the world.
