We're 4-deep. Collison/Price/Stephenson/Ford. He won't suit up unless there's injury.

Re: TJ Ford
Bibby turned down 6.5 mill, has he lost his mind???
Mike knows that he has been exposed a little this season, and he is hoping to parlay his salary into $16-18 mill over 4 seasons, before it is too late. Plus this way he is free to go wherever he chooses.
Ford on the other hand might as well be playing in Siberia. Nobody is gonna give him a deal longer than two years unless he miraculously assumes some type of productive role on this team before the end of the season.
TJ is a poster-child for the negative effects that guaranteed contracts have on the league. He never earned most of that money. You have legends from the 70's and 80's that paved the way, struggling to make ends meet, while TJ "broke-ass" Ford will never have to worry again.

Yes, but Maine retained his rights. I've read somewhere that he just isn't able to get the knee right, which is a shame. Maybe a summer league signee.

In a playoff game this season, you'd put Lance in ahead of TJ? I'm not so sure I would be game enough to do that. TJ is a good defender and has experience, not the worst player to keep on the roster for the rest of the season. Not to mention, an excellent cheerleader.
