Trade 1: Blatche+3 for Smith
Trade 2: McGee for Batum
Sign Nick Young to the QO and pursue a stop-gap option in the middle like Dalembert or Kristic on a 1-2 year deal.
Dalembert/Seraphin
Smith/Lewis/Booker
Batum/Lewis
Young/Crawford
Wall/FA
Add in whoever we take with the ATL pick and we should be much improved. Assuming Seraphin becomes another version of Perkins, we could be set for a while.
I'm not comfortable banking on Seraphin being the center of the future. I'd like to have either McGee or Jonas as a higher-upside prospect.
So basically, if we gave up the #3 for Smith, I wouldn't be too enthused about trading McGee for Batum. I think it'll be easier to find a stop gap SF than it will be to find another decent center. We also have a bit more time to find that SF since Lewis is on the roster another year.
