Truth be told, even if it does, we should have been able to keep our pick.

If the Jazz get the 1st or 2nd pick and pick up Kyrie Irving I will love the Nets forever.

That said, Deron is legitimately hurt. Good to see him passing more cus he hasn't been able to shoot worth a damn for a couple of months. He's still a workhorse and I don't see him sitting out games unless he absolutely knows he can't help the team win, and even then he will probably straddle that line. Hope I'm wrong though and the Nets lose all of their games...no offense...

No offense taken, I would hope for the same in your shoes.

It'll be interesting to see who the Jazz take if that picks ends up around 7th, 8th or 9th though.

If we (the jazz) end up getting harrison barnes. I will be forever a nets fan. Also can you tell me if favors has always looked so solid and good, or is it just a slight level of progression?

Oh and for a friendly rivalry

Favors is a stud in the making IMO.

He's still extremely green and has to increase his BBIQ, but I think Avery just couldn't see past his own bias and control freakish ways with young players to give this guy any freedom or at least a longer leash, more playing time and more responsibility while keeping it simply so as not to overwhelm him.

****, D-will should stay a Net, I'm down.

I just hope I didn't jinx the draft pick by coming over here. I'm honestly worried

That's what I said from the start. I was probably the only one who wasn't super ecstatic when I posted on the day of the trade. Having that pick or at least top 3 protection would have at least gave us a chance at adding a solid role player on a rookie contract who could be used in any deal to trade away Outlaw or trade for other star players. We should send that question to Billy via Ustream to see if he responds to that question the next time he goes on there. I would like to know if he ever asked for protection on the pick at least. Once VC4P came down from the high of the trade, he saw what I meant lol. Having that pick or top 3 protection would have been extremely valuable to the Nets future.

Forget role player, that pick could have easily landed us a star, whether through trade or the young guy eventually panning out including instant production.

Derrick Williams would have been absolutely sick with Deron.
