Definite yes if he was available... but I heard he's about to agree to a five year deal with the Pack.

We can still get his agent's phone number and go after him though, whether or not he would return the call is another thing. I'd make the call and pursue it as far as I could. If there is any glint of a chance that I could inconvenience the Packers by boosting his price up or somehow pulling off a legendary sale to Hawk, well the media reports can shut me down in advance all they want, but I've paid for my house with money I made selling things to people who initially told me they had absolutely no interest in what I had to offer. I've also dated many women who told me never in a million years because I stayed on them and found a way to convince them too. That all means jack squat to me. I pursue what I want, when I want, and sometimes it works out, and when it doesn't well then there's always next time.

He already has a deal with the Packers done, this was obviously prearranged. Good for the Packers, they save some $$ this year. Good for AJ too, he gets a long-term deal and stays on a very good team.

Darn! My other OLB would be Tulloch (Tennessee Titans).

Yeah, well it would be hard to consider another team considering they just won the SB and he gets to play with Clay Matthews, that's about as good as it gets if your AJ Hawk. They paid a lot for him though. I wouldn't have touched that price, we can't afford that kind of money for a LB really, especially when all that money I have budgeted for Asomugha! :)

Tulloch is a MLB and signing him would push Levy back to the outside... which I wouldn't be totally against.
