Did YOU "pay attention" when Smoove was out with an injury and Horford played PF rather than his usual Center? How do you support your claims when Joe had an off-night and Smoove wasn't even on the court?

The difference last night was that we featured Horford. He can create fine on his own.

Im looking at before last night and Joe was still being doubled last night occasionally.Horford still had wide open jumpers created by someone else, mainly Joe being doubled which is the reason why he had 9 ASSIST also

Now the Bulls hopefully can take the loss out on Orlando, so the margin can be shortened for a change.

You're saying that Noah left Horford to double Joe ... on a night when Joe was 5-20 and Horford scored 31 points? If anyone is going to double Joe, it'll be Marvelous's man or Smoove's man, since Smoove would be out on the perimeter, anyway, looking for a 3. It'll be Teague's man or Zaza's : guys who don't shoot so well. Not the best midrange shooter in the NBA this year.

Again (and then I'm going to drop this), Horford is open because his man is sagging off him -- not because his man is defending someone else. The defense would rather he hit 57% of his midrange shots rather than 99 and 44/100ths % of his dunks.

You said that if we ever made Horford the focus of our offense, his weaknesses would become obvious. Well, last night Horford WAS the focus of our offense. What'd you see?

I'm going to split the difference and say I don't think Horford could be the lead scoring option for a championship team. When you look at the bigs that have been the offensive focuses for their championship teams, you have guys like Shaq, Duncan, Hakeem, Moses, KAJ, and Wilt.

Horford can and absolutely should get more touches, but he can't be featured, nor can anyone else on this team. IMO we need to run a balanced offense since we have no superstars.

^ Horford can be like a Karl Malone. Pin point accuracy off the pick and roll.

Didn't Karl Malone help his team to the finals when they faced against MJ?

This is where people jump the shark when it comes to comparisons. He is my favorite player on the team and I definitely think he could potentially be a 20 point scorer if he played with a playmaking pg and a faster offense....but Karl Malone? Horford is a good athlete with a high motor....but he's no where near the kind of physical specimen that Malone was during his 4th year in the league.
