Key to win the game is the bench and Bosh, we know what Wade and Lebron can do. And also please lets play for 48 minutes this time

If you don't consider the first Boston and NOH losses which happened very early into the season, all of our losses have been against quality team and Joel played more the 15 mn. (exept for denver back to back high altitud)

26/10/10 28-078 MIA @ BOS L 1 00:00
05/11/10 28-088 MIA @ NOH L 1 00:00
09/11/10 28-092 MIA UTA L 1 17:30
11/11/10 28-094 MIA BOS L 1 07:52
24/11/10 28-107 MIA @ ORL L 0 11:11
27/11/10 28-110 MIA @ DAL L 0 29:15:00
20/12/10 28-133 MIA DAL L 0 28:28:00
12/01/11 28-156 MIA @ LAC L 0 24:33:00
13/01/11 28-157 MIA @ DEN L 0 08:51
15/01/11 28-159 MIA @ CHI L 0 38:10:00
18/01/11 28-162 MIA ATL L 1 43:12:00
27/01/11 28-171 MIA @ NYK L 0 36:00:00
13/02/11 28-188 MIA @ BOS L 0 21:02
24/02/11 28-199 MIA @ CHI L 0 17:55
27/02/11 28-202 MIA NYK L 0 30:22:00

The wins we had with him playing more the 15 min were all against very crappy with the exeption of his Amare performance.

That's asking too much from this team that half asses everything. Even the Lebron Cavaliers weren't as insanely lazy as this group. If we win I fully expect us to limp to the finish line as usual.

If the pattern holds, we play a +.500 team tonight and basicly if you see Joel gamelog getting over 20 min you can switch the TV off an go vacate to your other occupations, because there is close to a 95% chance that we will lose this game.

Dont know what to say, the team always talks about how to improve everygame and learn from previous mistakes. But i dont find that as a big problem, my biggest concerns right now are if Spo has the balls to tell his players (Wade&Lebron) when they are doing something wrong. It might not be a big problem right now but imagine during a tight playoff game and there aren´t changes made during the game.

Some here compare that this team was supposed to be like the 90´s bulls. I think Phil had the balls to yell and scream at his players so that they could change what they where doing. A coach must have his players to listen, respect and do as he says.

But then the problems are that we dont have an offensive plan&plays so what is there to listen 2?

You see where im trying to go, there are more problems behind then just the players. Watch San antonio play, all they do is run their plays 90% of the times and they stick to it.

Key to the game:

Spo not playing Joel against Dwight freaking Howard
Rotate to the 3-point shooters
Better offense
Spo not playing Joel against Dwight freaking Howard (yes, i put it twice)

You know, as the team's fanbase, we should hire a hitman to take out JA's knee's or something. Not killing him of course, just end his Heat career.

Until he's out of the picture, I don't know how this team will do. I want to believe in them, I really do. And as much as people say we don't execute late in games, its a hell of a lot harder to execute when you're only playing with 4 players on the court. No other team in the league plays with a player like that in the closing moments, and at least when the Spurs had Bowen, he was a pretty good 3-point shooter.

My exact sentiments.

Just win.

Ever since Dampier entered the starting line up the Heat have gotten off to fast offensive starts with the Heat leading 31-23 versus Chicago and 34-23 versus the Knicks. However, everything has fallen apart after the first quarter with the Heat only putting up 58 points the next three quarters against the Bulls and 52 points against the Knicks. With 60 games played this season the time for excuses is over. The Heat have been incapable of winning against solid teams, and it is time to just start winning or risk falling down the standing the next ten games and be exposed.

By the way, I really miss how clutch the Heat used to be in the past. Wade seemed to always get key steals and Haslem would get rebounds and shots. It was always talent that was holding the past Heat squads back, and it seemed as though all they needed was a legit second option to play beside Wade. Now the Heat just turn the ball over and run down the shot clock :( The spectacular plays and offensive outbursts are fun to watch, but a majority of the game is just ugly ugly basketball. Wade or Lebron may dominate for an entire quarter, but Heat still end up fighting to get a win as the offense slowly deteriorates as the game progresses. I don't have too much faith in the Heat's offense, but I do have confidence in their defensive abilities. I hope Bibby sees a lot of minutes tonight to see what he can bring to the offense.

My quick request is: START BIBBY!! do waste our time, get him in so he can be ready for the playoffs.

Return to Miami Heat
