Yea Shady Records has signed so many great artists  . No I havent I heard of Yelawolf and wanted him to be good but I had to force myself through Trunk Muzik just because I was hoping for something positive.

Trunk Muzik has gotten great reviews. Sorry you have bad taste. Dude's been cosigned by Raekwon, Big Boi, Em, Bun B, Tech N9ne, etc. I'm pretty sure Yelawolf is good. He probably has the best flow in the game today.

You know alot of people cosigned Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and Drake. Does that mean they're God MC's? Hell naw. And no Yelawolf is trash. I just listened to a thing of Daddy's Lambo and just wondered when did E-40 bleach his skin and lose 200 pounds. Then I heard Good to Go. :x Then I heard Doughnuts and said Why is Ludacris rapping like that? His voice is an auto headache and his speedy rapping is outdated. Even Cory Gunz stopped with the supersonic flows.

Cole World No Blanket Son!

Cole is just different to me... Maybe because I can relate to him easily, and maybe because all of his problems are so true, and he doesn't front about his life. I love his hunger. The Warm Up is my favorite mixtape.. the best ish I ever heard. Warm Up - FNL - Come Up are all classics, but Come Up was lacking some organization..

For all the people that never heard the man:
Dreams
Simba
2 Face
Farewell
Before I'm Gone
Grown Simba
Problems
Badness
Can't Cry
Enchanted

Are my top 10, but I listen to every one of his songs daily. I live Cole.

He finally blew up!

''Ay, believe in God like the sun up in the sky
Science can tell us how (but) they can't tell us why
I seen a baby cry then seconds later she laughed,
The beauty of life - the pain never lasts
The rain always past, the sun don't always shine''

I don't understand how you find him boring... I find Yelawolf boring, tbh. He doesn't come with the hunger that Cole does.

If he didn't come with the "hunger" there's no chance he gets a record deal. I'm sorry.

So you're biased against southern rappers. No biggie. I like MCs from all over. Yelawolf is from **** Alabama. There's no chance in hell he'll sound like J Cole or a NY based rapper.

Ghost even at this point of his career has no reason to say anything, why should he? What could he even gain out of anything? Everyone knows that Ghost is arguably one of the best ever, no need to get involved with some random weed rapper.

I don't know why people hate on Yelawolf, got one of the better flows and actually surprises you with some of his songs.

Cole is Cole.

Cole is Cole.

Yeah that's why I believe him when he said he ddnt write it. And Yelawolf's main flaw is his voice. It's just so straining and uncomfortable.

I'm a pretty hardcore hip hop head. I like Wiz...specifically when peeps are taking flight. He's a lot more talented then some people give him credit for. That said, no reason to disrespect a legend. If Ghostface is corny to you...you need to go back to hip hop school and learn something. Ghostface is a beast. He'll rap circles around Wiz, body him in a battle and than sleep comfortably in his place among emcees with five mic albums. Wiz though, is just a different type of artist. I don't think he necessarily WANTED to go pop, I'd bet the machine MADE him move in that direction. After grinding and mixtape after mixtape, he finally got offered that shot at a major and took it.

On J. Cole vs Yelawolf...lyrically it's not even close. Cole is one of the top up and coming lyrical emcees. To say you slept on him or that his problems have been done before...you musta been asleep forreal. Dude keeps it real. He's talking about young man problems for the most part, so maybe you're older than relating to it or maybe you've lived in a bubble...but his ish is very easy to relate to for the people I know. Now if you want to say that he's not musically entertaining for you...different story. Stick to that. Yelawolf, for me personally, is nothing special. His delivery needs a ton of work and his flow is forced at times. He has a unique voice that's hate it or love it. I could see why people like him though, he's got some substance and is certainly a breath of fresh air (just not my style). I won't hate on him but I DO believe talking about Shady Records deal as a badge of honor is nonsense. He got signed because he's marketable. J. Cole got a deal faster and is with just as good a team. Comparing the two is apples to oranges.

Outkast and Yelawolf are similar. Nothing to do with idolizing anyone just an observation.

J Cole isn't lyrical nothing. Someone lyrical would be someone like Nas. J Cole has stories. And when he tries to add in metaphors, they come off pretty lame.

And for someone who really understands rhyme scheme, I'd think you'd like Yelawolf more because his writing is insane. His descriptions and story telling are both really good; he's very colorful in his songs and it's easy to see what he's talking about.

Outkast is universal...if someone doesn't like them, they typically get their hip hop pass revoked.

There is a dude Big Ghostface that has been hitting a lot of the sites, funny as can be. So if it is the same person I have to laugh at this because he has been doing this for a while now.
