Sundiata Gaines...

Post#1 » by NyCeEvO » Mon Feb 28, 2011 4:24 pm

So we've signed Sundiata Gaines to a 10 day contract. What are your thoughts? Do you think we'll end up keeping him or is a just a person to have on the roster for 10 days?

sounds like it's a look while Farmar is out.

I actually like Uzoh and am interested in seeing what he brings to the table. He plays good D and attacks the rim better then anyone else on the bench (not saying much I know). His jumpshot sucks but there's a reason he was undrafted.

It would be nice to see what this team could do if Outlaw wasn't such an epic sinkhole. Imagine if he was just a solid 3rd/4th starter like Wes Matthews? One can dream...of a buyout clause in the new CBA.

This is better news than the Deron trade... I sure hope Gaines is in uniform tonight. I just bought my Sundiata jersey

After watching that video and I saw Deron I thought maybe we're trying to make Deron feel more at home at home with a guy who was huge in Utah for a short amount of time lol jkjk. But I did forget that he and Deron played together.

Sundiata orchestrated the Net's late run yesterday. At one point when he was on the floor with Farmar in the 4th, he either scored or assisted on like 4 or 5 straight possessions. He looked very, very comfortable out there, and I'd also like to see more of him. Play him at point and let Farmar cut into Sasha's minutes at the 2.

The Raptors had him for 2 10days and he did admirably. I say you give him a chance especially since DWills wrist is acting up.
So umm this is where people write stuff that they wanted repeated again, and again, and again.

I will NOT fall in that trap...

Rumor was he didn't get along with Deron actually. He's an NBA player, but don't expect him to get signed to a multi-year contract soon.
