The team that beat the knicks tonight pretty much doesn't have a reason to care about LeBron. The cavs only played 2 players from last year's team -- JJ and Parker. Beyond that they started a D-Leaguer in Gee, a TWolves cast off in Sessions, and an undrafted rookie making his 2nd start in Samuels. THe bench had a guy who was playing his first game with the team in Davis, another Twolves cast off in Hollins, a guy the celtics gave away to save $200k in Harangody, another undrafted rookie and last year's draft pick who didn't start in the spanish league last year in Eyenga. Even the two guys who got DNPs weren't here last year nor was the coach.

0-3 against the Cavs.

I thought Carmelo was supposed to be the saviour?

Looks like 2 Max contracts isn't enough. They'll need 3 max contracts just to be good. :lol:

I dont see this team ever becoming a contender unless they add someone like Dwight Howard.

No wonder why people call them the NY Bricks! :lol:

We shouldn't scare any top seed. We're poorly constructed with no depth, and play no defense.

The Knicks have an "unknown" factor. They can get hot and scare a team...but they are clearly not contenders....

The knicks are most likely going up against the heat in round 1... so it will be 2 poorly constructed teams with superstars. Miami's superstars are better tho, so... yeah.

I'm a Knicks fan, but even I don't think we're that scary. We need a big man, a defensive minded coach and some depth. Could the Knicks win a game or 2 in the playoffs? sure. I'm not going to say we're scaring people yet.

With D'Anthoni on board they aren't going nowhere, and the sad thing is the Knicks have good defensive role players in their roster.

The Knicks can put up points, but much like Miami they have to learn how to get stops late in games. Until they can do that consistently, they aren't scaring anyone except with the wide array of excuses that they can make.
