Of course, Spurs Sign Jeffers!

Post#1 » by Montanajazz » Sat Mar 5, 2011 3:18 am

Where are the jazz? Spurs sign Jeffers. He's only leading the d league in about every category! Again, the Jazz suck at player personell! Let Matherws go! Sign Bell! Keep Miles! Don't trade for shooting guard at deadline! Don't sign Jeffers, who knows the jazz Plays! Wow!! The problem is not coaching! It's not the players, except for Bell! It's Management!

Well, I got to agree. I wanted Jeffers here the whole year. I think he brings everything Bell does except for leadership.

Well, they don't really have a good reason to sign a D-Leaguer at this point. The Spurs do. Only the Grizz signed a player out of the marginal teams, and that was a different scenario where they got a guy more for the future.

Jeffers isn't a useless player; he would have been a great part of the team. He isn't worth signing now though. Just start Gordon and bring Raja off the bench and see where the fates take us at this point.

Oh this is just plain stupid. Anyone who whines and moans about how cheap Jazz management is has absolutely ZERO clue as to what is going on in the real world. The Jazz are cheap cuz they didn't sign a guy that wouldn't have made a difference anyhow?! Jeffers helps a team like the Spurs, cuz they are killing it this year, making a serious run at the title, and just had a significant injury. The Jazz are sucking b@lls, and not even likely to make the playoffs.

Next time any of the "Jazz are cheap" twits wanna spout off just for the sake of doing so, think about this first.

The Jazz are so cheap that they added Big Al's contract over the summer. If they were really that cheap, they wouldn't have bothered ADDING big contracts, AND they wouldn't be in luxury territory.

The Jazz are so cheap that they opted NOT to trade AK's massive expiring deal. And don't for a second think that there weren't offers.

Look up the highest payrolls for the ENTIRE league. The Jazz were in the top 5 salaries before the D-Will trade, and I imagine aren't much lower now.

I agree signing Jeffers would've been awesome, but it wouldn't have changed the outcome of this team. That being said, CJ Miles is a waste of a killer basketball frame. The kid is built for basketball and he is a lefty... what a waste.

Please don't make personal attacks even if it's a backhanded compliment.

That was fun! It's pretty simple. Management isn't to bright sometimes. Bell Isn't the player he used to be. Miles is who Miles is! Haywood needs to start! and even evans should p[lay more then Bell.
