drew is beasting again.

history dictates he goes down in a week or two for minimum 4-6 weeks layoff.

should we start resting bynum and/or wrap him in cotton wool?

it seems as if whenever he stops thinking to protect himself and plays all out he ends up with a partially torn meniscus here, a dislocated patella there and a torn MCL on the side

i know he's playing less than 30 minutes a game, but maybe thats still too much? maybe we can play derrick caracter some rotation minutes a game.

i wonder if there are scheduled appointments with medical staff to make doubly sure there isn't some sort of injury that's just waiting to derail his season

it might not be against memphis, but lest we forget, he partially tore his meniscus during the POs at OKC as well

Actually we need to pray for his teammates. For some reason its always forgotten his major injuries came from them hurting him.

Drew finally looks like he's got his timing down and isn't playing (jumping) nervously anymore. Today will be a big test against Duncan and DeJuan Blair.
Thank you, Phil.

+1 Anklebreaker, I think some are over blowing it to more than it really is. All of Drew's major set backs have been at the hands of teammates. The meniscus injury was the only time he injured himself, and that really wasn't that bad of an injury. Drew just went about the wrong way in getting it done in a timely manner.

When he went down the other times he was averaging 25 points a game. He's not asked to over exert himself on the offensive right now so hopefully that's the difference maker in his health.

Suns fan here

If you have a healthy Drew for the playoffs you should be able to come out of the West again

i get anxious seeing him jump so high, seeing him double jumping that something in his knee is going to pop or ligaments get strained or torn

especially in this stretch, he seems to be going all out
