3/6: Knicks fans invade Phillips

Lot of long jumpers early.
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Story of the game: it was close until the 4th, when D'Antoni pestered the refs into some "makeup calls," they got aggressive and we went into a shell. Even that irritating woman was berating us for not fighting back.

They slapped us on the nose and, like dogs, we stuck our tails between our legs and bowed our heads.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

The other thing that happened was that when the Hawks needed to be making a run they didn't value the ball well. Lots of turnovers in the 3rd (actually the game as a whole).

Some observations:
Hilton Armstrong showed some flashes of being useful and active. Damien played some inspired D against Anthony.

When everyone else is actually buying in and moving on offense it really sticks out that Josh is standing around. If I was coach I'd show him the game tape privately and question him about it (don't want to show him up in public at first). The offense works best if the entire defense has to move and react and the actions of one can negatively influence the others.

What's up with Joe Johnson as of late?

Overpaid, relies on his jumpshot far too often, and can't shoot a 3 ball if his life depended on it.

I want to see January Joe back.

I think Joe is tired. Honestly after an explosive January, where he averaged 20 attempts a game, he also averaged ~37 minutes over 13 games and the month before he averaged 38 minutes, and to make matters worse, he is around 39 for March after 3 games. The guy has to be wearing down. LD should use Damien more and try to give Joe about 30 minutes until he can get back right.Teague at point and Kirk at SG would help also.If he continues at this rate, then Joe won't have no gas for the playoffs.
