Silas throws Doris under the bus

Silas on Boris Diaw: "He just has to come with energy ... and give his all. He's not shooting well at all, he's not rebounding, nothing."

Silas wouldn't rule out replacing Diaw with Thomas in the starting lineup once Thomas returns. "It's always a consideration. ... We'll see"

its about time silas said something about boris. he has been playing awful past 2 months - seemingly about the same time tyrus got hurt. i really hope tyrus gets the chance to start the last few weeks, once he is healthy. boris should be moved this summer. he just doesnt fit well with this current team.

Boris, to me, is clearly a 6th man kind of guy. Not good enough at any one thing, too good at every single thing, or something like that.

I'm hoping they are considering shutting down Tyrus for the remainder of the year but I also think they need to see if he can handle a starting job and still be productive will playing those minutes.

Thankyou Silas. About time Doris got called out for his inconsistent BS play. Should've traded him at the deadline.

We have to work out a way to construct a three way that sends Boris to team B, something from team B to the Clippers and Kaman to us.

It just makes so much sense.

That reminded me of this SouthPark episode.

seems as though diaw is motivated tonight. he is playing well. i guess he saw tyrus coming back this week and figured he better start playing as to keep his starting job.

I don't think the words "throws" and "bus" applies in this situation then.

Ummmm I thought according to the real gm Bobcats board manual that a head coach is not supposed to publicly throw a player under the bus? Now me personally I can understand if it was a hall of fame coach saying this, but come on, Silas has no street cred to be doing stuff like this. :wavefinger:

Street cred??? You don't need street cred to question a player who's so inconsistent, fat, outta shape, you don't even realise he's on the court most of the time.

Silas is the coach, he spoke the truth. At least for Diaw, it lit a fire under his fat a%s he actually played well tonight, we noticed he was on the court at all.

Oh I'm sorry, I haven't been around much lately and did not realize the Bobcats real gm board constitution had been amended in the section concerning head coach bashing of players in public. This must have been a recent amendment within the past 2 months because I do not remember seeing this earlier in the season.

As far as I am concerned, Mr. Bouquet of Roses can bash away all day every day until the message sinks in. I love it when coaches rip players publicly, sometimes you need to embarrass them to reignite their passion. If Boris doesn't like it then he can go home because we as fans do not like paying to see someone making 9 million dollars a season who looks like he doesn't care. Embarrass his lame fat ass because at 9 million we at least deserve to see an in shape player who gives it his all every night. What a shame.

diaw was fat and out of shape under brown as well. as far as diaw is concerned it appears that silas has far less tolerance for his laziness than his predecessor did. had tyrus not gotten injured i think diaw would have been benched by now.

Najera should start.

DJ / Henderson / McGuire / Najera / Kwame

That's an All-Star lineup.
