Is it really hard to learn to make a post entry pass?

I'm ok with Kobe chucking at times, but there is no reason ever that Shannon should be putting up the amount of jumpshots that he is. Kobe is playing less minutes, get the damn ball to the post when he's not in.

This is why I wish we would have thrown more money at a guy like Morrow or Reddick, guys that can shoot, but shoot when they are supposed to and play inside out. He just needs to understand his role, team has plenty of offense, especially in the post, use it...

and on top of his low BBIQ he has no body control to alteast force a foul in the lane with all that athleticism. i wont even start with his defensive rotations.

I think a lot of his problems come from the fact that he dribbles with his head down. Its leads to bad decision making because he doesn't see open team mates.

Really? you wish we would have a guy like reddick instead of Brown? I bet you're not the only one, sir. We don't have the cap space to sign them...

Orlando matched a 19m/3yrs offer for JJ made by Chicago. Do you know how much we pay brown? 4.6m/2yrs. He can opt out next year (he'll probably opt out, so don't worry...)

Morrow got a 12m/3yrs contract...

Yep, He shoots the 3 very well... he would be good for that but he does not produce much more than Brown even playing in a lottery team where theres no pressure on him to perform.

He's better than most other benchplayers and gets paid nothing

I wouldn't say he sucks, that's kinda harsh. He's pretty solid considering what we're paying him.

But it seems like in the beginning of the season, when he was lights out from 3, he released his shot at the peak of his jump... but now he releases it just very slightly AFTER the peak. I think that's why a lot of his shots come up short.
Anyone else notice this or is it just me? lol.

As others pointed out, he has plenty of flaws, but for a guy making 2 million he's pretty damn good. It's not like he's getting Walton money.

Blake's performance is a bit more concerning.

I do like Shannon Brown because of his freakish athleticism. At times, he has a good game but later he's chucking and making lousy decisions with the ball.

@purplegold Shanon got a very mechanical and slow release. It has no fluidness so when he changes it a bit due to someone contesting it he misses the shot. He still shooting very well from 3, teams aren't leaving him wild open anymore. That's what changed.

Btw, Another very good game by baby-kobe. He gambled a bit too much on the passing lanes yesterday but lakers need a player like him since Ariza left... and Kobe doesn't do it anymore so I wont criticize Brown for doing that because when he gets the steal he energizes the team with his dunks...

Steve the "reaching foul" Blake. He does the same stupid things Bitchyacic does. Except chucking.

I don't know why this topic was created or why people would even roasted him, he's actually become a solid 6th man, more than I thought he'd ever really amount to. His jumper and three point shot is god like compared to last year.

He's improved his shot tremendously. I don't think he'll grow as a player until he leaves the team, though. He needs a starting spot to fully reach his potential.
