I agree that he's been awesome, but NO way has he been that much better, if better at all, than Rose.

OP's question is kind of ambiguous.

I still think no one in the league is capable as lifting a team as much as LeBron, so calling him the best player is not unreasonable.

However, in terms of actually playing to contribute to his team this year, LeBron hasn't been nearly so impressive, thus I don't think he's had the best year of any player.

Except Rose does not have better stats than Wade. This isn't MVP consideration.
