I checked and you can indeed turn it off. I used RGM's future pick tracker and updated all the 1st round picks that have been traded. I didn't **** with most of the 2nd rounders because, frankly, who cares?

I always stock up on second rounders.

In a Bobcats association I did, I think I had four players on the roster when the draft ended. Had seven or eight picks, most of those being second rounders. Good times.

Ahhh I see Captain Clunker finally got suspended. I guess he took his "talents" over to the General Board.

yeah...poor kid, probably didn't even know what hit him. Can't be calling people idiots and fools and expect to get away with it on the GB. Probably kicking puppies as we speak.

I really enjoyed the way Wallace guarded LBJ. Played him square and didn't give him any space or time.

Milwaukee go back to the starting 5 from last year and have a good win. Bogut seems to have seen a fair bit of the ball as he had 7 assist with his 14 pts.

I hated their off season moves, especially getting Maggette. They played their best ball when Mo Williams and Redd weren't playing and they got more ball movement from their guards.

I rate their front office as worse than ours. That $32 mill deal for Gooden was just revolting.

I actually like Gooden. I don't know how much he makes per year or what he has been doing in MIL, but I'd pay him around ~$6m/year given what he was producing the past few years. He's underrated as a starting PF and pretty good as a bench PF.

He could have killed him. He has no place to ba on the ice. If he wasn't ridiculously tall and strong Habs would beaten sh*t out of him for that. Rightfully so (and I am opposed to brawls). That being said Montral is arena is designed very stupid way, no need to have plexi at thar place. in Europe there is just mantinel. But Chara knew and it doesn't make it less stupid and reckless play. They won't be able to prove it but intent was pretty obvious.

Did you see the last game the Habs and the B's played? It was a blood bath. The teams combined for 182 penalty mins so it doesn't surprise me one bit that someone did something as stupid as the Chara hit in this game.

No. Actually it the hit made headlines in newspapers here that's why I even know. I care less and less about hockey as it turns into violence on ice more than anything else. It's not the first time Chara did something like that I don't respect him at all.

I had a friend who played ice hockey, appropriately he was Canadian. He would always tell us about his game blah blah blah. All he ever spoke about though was fights and punchups. YAWN. He sported a black eye one time, like a trophy.

The fighting in hockey is a blight on the sport. It's a real pity because outside of that it's a fantastic sport.

It shocks me how much they glorify the fighting - and even go as far as justifying it. If two dudes did the same thing on the street they would face serious police charges but for some reason on a hockey rink it's deemed as acceptable.
