Man, really hoped we could see them together today. I know some of you are wishing we loose, much like Panthers fans did last season. But as a fan of a team I just cannot even begin to fathom how you actively hope your team does not make the playoffs. Maybe i'm just wired differed. In my book, if we have a chance to make it, which we do, I want us going 100 percent towards that. Plus you have to think that Thomas is a guy they look at as a starter for the future, so wouldn't it be nice to actually see him in that starters role for at least a little bit? I mean there is a lot to gain for the future with this team being successfull. It lets you know what you do and what you don't have. I still think we will be in the playoffs, and I will still root 110% for the playoffs. This team with Jack and Thomas back I think will surprise some people. It lets everyone go back to there more "natural" role. Especially DJ and Hendo. Then we have DJ White looking nice off the bench, some size down low, Livingston playing very well as well.
Monday was a game I did say we would have to win to go .500. I think at .500, if you look at the Pacers schedule, that would give us just enough to surpass them (which would be 1 more win than them since we don't have tiebreaker). So to make up for Monday, we will eventually have to win a game were not supposed to. Today, though, is not the day. So I won't be too disapointed over a loss here. Worst case is were 2 games back with Jack and Thomas coming back, plus with the way the Pacers have playead there is no guarentee they win tonight agains the Twolves. Tonight will be a good night to see more of our young guys get big minutes. We don't have Carroll so even if Jack does play, expect a lot of Temple. Kind of excited to see what the kid has...maybe another Cartier Martin?
Go Bobcats!
