I guess the last 3 are all debatable, I prefer Nash's efficiency on offense to any edge Rose has on defense.

It's pretty close. Something else to consider is the Suns Ortg is 116 with Nash on the floor and 101 with him on the bench.

Well they didn't have Vince at the time. Once Vince got on board they got better.

At what time?

Vince has been pretty bad until very recently for the Suns.

Put LeBron and Wade on different teams, and you will see how ridiculous it is that anyone not have them ranked #1 and #2.

I mean who saw one result of the Decision that Rose was going to start getting ranked ahead of Wade and even James on some lists? James, Wade, and Rose are all the same basic variant of player-- attacking scorers who pass like PGs (Rose actually plays the position). James and Wade are just vastly more beastly.

Can't judge them on what could have been. Gotta judge them on what is. Them joining up in South Beach was going to drop their rankings regardless. Talent wise, they might be #1 and #2, but this season together you can't rank them there.

Interesting how not one player from the best team in the Eastern Conference (and possibly NBA) is mentioned.

Who from that team would you quantify as top 10? No one alone is a top 10 player. They play an excellent brand of team basketball. Everybody buys into the team concept, and because of that they are incredibly dangerous. At this point in their careers, none of Allen/Pierce/KG are top 10. The fact that they all play together and within the team is what makes them so good.

So what you're saying is that they are better basketball players...

Shouldn't they make the list then? You lost me.

They have a better team because they play such a great brand of team basketball, but individually none of them belong in the top 10. Kind of the same way the Heat have two top 5 players, but because of the way they play they're not the top team. Team play has a lot to do with how well a team does. Talent isn't the end all.
