Playa only meeting?

Post#1 » by Indy2thaWindy » Tue Mar 8, 2011 8:23 pm

I'm definitely there. Don't know about all you.

But from the wiretap

The Pacers have lost three consecutive games and are in danger of losing their grip on the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Yelling could be heard from Indiana's locker room following Saturday's loss to the Rockets.

They plan to hold a players-only meeting some point soon.

"At some point, we're going to meet up and talk some things out, because too many things are sliding right now and we have a real tough month ahead of us and we need to get some things taken care of," Roy Hibbert said.

They probably aired out the fact that atleast two of them, that we know of, were almost traded. How does that affect Rush and McRoberts in terms of their lack of certainty? Do they feel less secure in their roles with the team? They both start you know.

Also, TJ's situation with the team is negative.

I am sure that tensions in the locker room are high. You have a lot of players due for a new contract, so of course they are stressed. The young guys can only be held back so long before it is evident that what is in the best interest of the organization is to go through the growing pains now. Even if you are negatively affecting the veterans chances of a higher salary.

Deal with it Vogel. Next season that element (bad contracts) will be gone and the young-core will improve. Our chance to be competitive will obviously be linked to our newfound flexibility. If the league institutes a hard-cap it will force a lot of teams to shed salary. We will be winners.

We will most likely have a different coach come next season.
