I'm a big fan of tyreke evans and demarcus cousins more than a kings fan. If paul westphal remain as kings head coach, I'd rather trade my boy cousins to any other nba team except lakers(i hate lakers  ). my boy cousins will never blossom under paul westphal, this coach hate cousins so much. with new team, new coach plus deron williams(pass first pg....more ball movement) as his pg WOW, cousins is the happiest person in the world if thats happen, so em i.

Not that bad of a swap value wise right now, but if the Kings make that deal they'll be looking stupid in about two years short of Cousins taking up arms, finding a tall building, and going on a killing spree.

Hey, you never know, Westphal is his coach and it's only a matter of time before he demands a trade so just hang in there.

You're basically, as I see it weighing Lopez's slightly better size and lack of character issues against Cuz's more reactive scoring, and better rebounding and passing ability.

I mean you have to consider it, but unless we really don't think Cuz will ever grow up, I think I'll stick with the homer in me and stick with Cuz.

How about Andrea Bargnani for DeMarcus Cousins?

What is the asking price for Cousins? A first rounder and a prospect?

Now wait a minute. If other people are pointing out his character issues as reason for US to trade him, why exactly would they WANT him? I don't understand...

SacKingsPejaFan wrote:Lopez cannot rebound the basketball, so no way. 5.8 boards per game on the season? That's horrendous for a center. His offense is good and he looks like he has the potential to average 22-24 ppg next year. But Kim Kardashian's 6'9'' boyfriend leads the Nets in rebounding playing 10 fewer minutes per game. Cousins is far superior at rebounding and passing. And Cousins' offense will catch up and maybe even surpass Lopez's.

Lopez can't rebound, but he is a northern cali guy, so i don't think that he will bolt like what i think Cousins will do, when he gets the chance.

I wouldn't worry about Cousins bolting, thats a loong ways down the line. Plus, the new CBA could include some new rules helping teams keep their star players. Much like the franchise tag in the NFL. Maybe not, but i've heard it mentioned before.
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.

While we are discussing a potential swap. Take a look at what Toronto has proposed to Sacramento.
