IllegalDefense wrote:you have to do that trade. Melo is good, but lebron is one of the top players in the game, if not the best. LBJ would make everyone better on the team. He would run the pick and role with amare better than anyone in the league. Nobody would be able to stop that.

Felton
Fields
Lebron/Chandler
Gallo
Amare

Vs

Billups
Fields
Melo
Amare
Jeffries

I would take the first one. Only reason why I am even thinking about it is because of billups.

????? with the queen james signing we wouldnt have room to sign Felton and Mozgov

no..melo is my fav player..lebron is the type of player whom i dont want to play because of his stat padding thus taking away my confidence and happiness which could lead to chemistry issues

everyone who says they'd make the trade aren't taking into consideration that it takes a special kind of athlete to win here. it takes balls and heart as well as skill. lames would fizzle under the bright lights of broadway......

I'm content with what we have and don't want anybody who doesn't want us. lebron does have his flaws and Melo wants to be here, has chemistry with Amar'e, and is ready to win a title in NYC.

So no, you don't look backward. This is our team and it feels right.

Yeah, and we're certainly not one of those teams better than the Heat.

If you don't factor in that lebron didn't want to be the man, then all you are doing is trading for a guy on paper. But you don't win championships on paper. lebron didn't want to be the man and he didn't want to be the man in NYC. Therefore, we shouldn't want him.

Lebron is better than Melo... but I still wouldn't do this trade. As a Knick fan, I would hate to have Queen James on my team and brick shots at the buzzer. You know he'd want the ball in his hands or else he'd get criticized in NY. I really don't think he can handle the New York media. Give me Melo. As Billy Walker would say, "he's wet all the time!"

Besides, New York Knick basketball was never about having the best player in the league and being the favorites to win it all. Give me the 90s Knicks teams who battled Jordan (but they should win this time cuz Lebron's no MJ)

The better question is... how would Miami look if they had a Big 3 of Wade, Melo and Bosh?

Absolutely would not trade Melo for Queen James. If the Heat were offering James for Melo straight up that would have to mean things are not working out in Miami. Why in the world would we want to bail out Miami in this hypothetical situation. Melo is our guy. STAT and Melo will ALWAYS be UNTRADEABLE end of story. Not to mention how immature James is. As others have stated he cannot handle playing in this city. Melo and STAT can though. James is straight Fugazi, don't need that dude on our team.

If James was still with the Cavs, yes. Now, hell no.

Look, I fully understand that it is trendy right now to hate Lebron and everyone who likes like Lebron. But, let's be honest here, Lebron is still the most physically gifted player in the sport. Imagine Lebron and Amare on the Pick and roll?!?!?! :o

No F'n way. I want guys with cojones on my team. Lebron is a pu$$y that was looking for an easy way to a championship. Melo will abuse that biatch if we face them in the playoffs. Melo looks to take the big shot, the clown prince will pass.

In crunch time Melo is better, and he wants to be a Knick.

Yeah, Lebron is the better player.

But Melos one of us now. Just like how i would have never traded Starks for Miller, the fan in me is not trading Melo for Lebron.
