"last years series" being the key word. Boston took the regular season off last year and the Hawks have fallen to 2nd to 19th in offensive efficiency.

The Hawks aren't a mentally tough enough team to keep fighting when their shots aren't falling an d that's why the usual 88-85 type playoff game turns into a 95-75 type game when the Hawks are playing in the playoffs. I'd rather play Orlando in the 1st round so we can avoid being humiliated in prime time like we were in the Cleveland series of 2009.

Anybody get the feeling that Joe is just tired seeing as he has been carrying this team since he been here up until this year.So many shots and so many minutes can take its tole on a guy like that that. I mean just look back at December and January and think about how well he was doing, but had all those minutes and shot attempts.Drew needs to start subbing Jamal in for Joe instead of Marvin and go with Hinrich/Teague, Wilkens and Jamal. I mean keep the ball out of Jamals hands until we need his creativity at the end of game's for a final play.

Joe is playing the least amount of minutes per game that he's played in the last 8 years not to mention the games that he missed due to injury. If you feel it is some sort of accumulative effect from the previous 8 years then it makes the resigning all the more ridiculous. His shot was broken through the injury and subsequent surgery and he really needs an entire offseason to go back to seed and get rid of all the lil kinks and mechanics he developed to compensate for the pain.

I think Joe's hurt but I'd totally agree with the idea of getting the ball out of Jamal's hands, except to shoot.

Catch-and-shoot would be best for him, except when the clock's running down.
