I honestly wouldn't mind Marquette losing this game tonight. It seems like whenever a team plays 4 or 5 games in the Big East Tourney, they always go one and done in the NCAA tournament. The year Gerry McNamara took Syracuse on that miracle run to the championship they ended up losing in the first round of the tourney.

I'm worried that the win over West Virginia may have bumped Marquette into a 8 or 9 seed, 9th seed more likely.

Given how watered down college ball is this year and so many teams after say the top 8 or so being reasonably close in skill, i'd rather see MU be a 10 or 11 seed so that if they won in the first round, they'd face a 2 or 3 seed next instead of a one seed.

So for a potential road to the Sweet 16 this year, of these two ptions

A. First round-- 10 seed MU facing a 6 seed. Win and next game vs a 2 seed

B. First round-- 8 or 9 seed vs 8-9. Win and next round vs a 1 seed.

I'll take choice A

I have the same reservations about an 8 or 9 seed. I'd rather see them fall to 10.

Last year I really thought they would be an 8 or 9 and they ended up a 6 somehow so I guess you never know what might happen.

Seeing OSU go 2-13 from 3 point range is almost sickening after the crap that happened in the regular season finale.

I hope NU can pull this one off, lets go nerds!

That's the only way Wisconsin is going to beat teams near that caliber in tournaments. Have other programs do their dirty work, then take advantage of them.

Will this be the year for our 2nd top 8 seed win in the NCAA tourney under Ryan? Can we beat a top 4 for the first time? I f***ing doubt it.

UNC- Miami game just got really good. UNC was down 17 late. pulled it within 4 right now. Theyve been dropping 3's like crazy. Insane run

First time North Carolina had a lead was on the game winning buzzer beating shot. Incredible.

Sullinger: "It was going to be a physical game, not a lot of calls are going to be called."

Says the guy who shot 18 free throws.

I thought he played really well other than those two bricks. They werent necessary shots at all. Still very good game
