This will be similar to the NBA lockout. NBA owners are saying they're losing money but won't open all their books to the union. In the end fans come out the losers if both sports are going to be in a prolonged lock out.

How long till the first player gets a prescription for pain? Seriously, Cannabis is better than any prescription drug out there and it's magnitudes safer (doesn't mess with your liver).

The truly perfect drug for sports athletes. Legalize it and end the silly and costly war on drugs, stop killing.

Just like the players, I think we should have a thread of what to do in case of a lockout of both sports. I mean seriously but that's my fall/winter right there. Wtf am I supposed to do with all the free time?

Nfl is last sport where there should be lockout. Owners are making a killing in nfl.

if the nfl goes into a lockout, the nba needs to make sure it gets its stuff figured out. even if it just creates a one year temporary extension of this cba. there is a ton of money out there for the nba if the nfl does not have a season

Still can't believe he didn't play for us when he got traded. He would've been really solid with us and we might have made the playoffs.

Duhon
Mobley
Chandler
Harrington
Lee

With Tim Thomas, Nate, Q-Rich, Jeffries coming off the bench.

That might have been a 40 win team and have gotten us to the playoffs.

I want to see unguarannted contracts in all sports. Imagine Eddy/Jerome/Houston/Eisley/Marbury all could have been cut if this was in play.

I also want to see union create a retirement fund i.e. they contribute certain % of pay cheque to the fund. Once they retire from sports regarldess of age they should start receiving the funds on a monthly basis. This hopefully stops them from going broke but of course its not guarantteed

I found the "I know my kingdom awaits" verse with the roll by footage of Brick City hilarious, and I was born in Newark.

It woulda made those trades so much better. And chandler would have actually been able to play SF for once
