It just came to me- Harrison Barnes is the same guy that Shane Battier was for Duke.

The only difference is it only took Barnes one season to get to that level. Battier took 4.

But they profile as the same guy. Big shots, primarily a 3pt shooter. Great defender & good rebounder. Ultimate glue buy but not an all-star.

Those were huge back to back 3's by Barnes and Marshall in overtime.

This has come from nowhere from Barnes. He was the only only guy playing at the beginnning but now he's showing that killer instinct.

The clutch 3 with less than a minute to go in regulation. Dagger 3 in overtime and than the 3pt play on the offensive rebound.

He's playing huge when it matters the most.

Other than Eric Gordon (who appears injury prone) I cannot name another 2/3 in the league under 25 years of age that I'd rather have on this team.

He went off for 10 pts in overtime. 2 3pt's a putback layup 3pt play and then an intentional foul.

On the way he's set an ACC record for points by a freshman in a tournament game.
