You DO realize that if you're serious, it's a really stupid question, don't you ?

We're talking about a professional athlete. He may not have too much offense, but he will smother you with his D.

I'll be honest, he would destroy me, and probably destroy most of you too. He'd block almost anything you threw up at him, and would at least be able to get hookshots off all day against you (not to mention possibly a couple of dunks).

Joel Anthony would be the kind of guy that would absolutely dominate in a local YMCA with his length and athleticism.

He sucks, but he'd still cream me 1on1. Then again, I'm terrible. But still, he's a pro and doesn't get $3.5M a year because he'd lose to Joe Shmoe. PEACE.

I'm not sure if either one of us would be able to score. I assume he gets the ball at the top of the key, not in the post, so he'd have a tough time dribbling his way to the basket, unless he gets to post up at the top of the key and simply back me down to the basket. Of course he would swat just about anything I threw up at the rim.

If I came across Joel during a normal pick up game I wouldn't even recognize him, since he would probably be displaying a wide array of offensive moves like turn around hooks, jumpers, drives, etc. The NBA is a field for elite ball players, and a lot of players seem one dimensional due to the defense they face along with partnering up with players who are better suited to taking on certain responsibilities. Joel would be a God on the court going up against the normies. He'd probably be swishing threes too.

Joel would dominate most of us but if any of you went to college and played ball, he wouldn't. Check Joel Anthony college stats, not that impressive. Joel against the average 6"8-10" wouldn't dominate.

Yeah I remember seeing Ben Wallace hit like eight threes in a row during warm ups. I'd like to see Joel shoot some threes before games but all he does is stand under the basket and rebound :/

Not one of us would even get a shot up against him.

No one has a gif of his epic pass to Alec Kessler for the corner 3? Blah. I want to experience that again.

I know this isn't a serious thread but no one would stand a chance.

He would score almost every time and anyone would be lucky to score a point and most would never even be able to get a shot off.

He is way bigger than anyone here and still a lot more athletic.

If your in/was in the NBA, you are EXTREMELY better than anyone one playing street ball...unless your name is Kasib Powell, Stephen Lasme, and Blake Ahearn, LOL at the '07-'08 season

what a stupid hater of a thread. You can tell the Heat are winning when their "fans" start attacking Joel.

I see Lebron passed into the seats against Memphis - hope he doesn't get the Hate for it.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders
