Injured Wizards

Andray Blatche Sprained right shoulder - Day-to-day
Josh Howard Strained left hamstring - Questionable
Cartier Martin Right patella tendinitis - Questionable
Rashard Lewis Sore right knee - Doubtful

This is the first time the Clippers are playing the Wizards this season. At this point in the season the Wizards are pretty banged up and have only won 16 games. They are either playing for pride or lottery position. This game also features two top rookies, Blake Griffin and John Wall.

Yesterday's game looked like it was going to be a blowout, only to result in an over time loss for the Clippers. This is a game the Clippers should be able to win. Too many veterans are out for the Wizards so there will be a lot of inexperience out on the court. I believe we have an advantage at basically every position. Clippers need to play hard for all 48 minutes. We can't let up like we have in the past.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

We should have no problem winning this game. Mo needs to make his shots though.

DJ vs McGee is always interesting to watch. These 2 players often get compared to each other. McGee has been the better of the 2, but will DJ finally have the opportunity to outperform his east coast counterpart.

It is a sold out crowd for the Wizards tonight. Yesterday, it was mentioned that with opposing teams' fans coming out to see Blake, that we're getting our opponent's best a lot of nights. New Jersey sold out last night. I don't know how many they have on the season, but I do know that they have waiting for one for awhile. The crowd's impact was definitely noticeable. Same thing goes with Sacramento. That wasn't all Blake, since their fans were rallying to save their team, but having that home support is a huge difference-maker. The Clippers are ranked 8th in the league in road attendance.

We have to play for a full 48 mins or as close to it as possible. We've had far too many games where we've had double digit leads at some point, but let the game fall apart in the 2nd half. We have managed to win a few as well, but it really shouldn't come to that point. Some of it is on the players and then the coach has to take a lot of the blame as well.

Should be a winnable game, but the Wiz are actually half decent at home. On the other hand, they do have a boat-load of injuries. I say we win, but let's see.

Nice passing on that possession. Foye with the lay-in plus the foul.

DJ may have just saved Yi Jianlian's life. Blake was pretty pissed after the foul, but DJ held him back and calmed him down.

3-Ball by Gomes gives the Clippers an 11 point lead.

Clippers are on a 15-1 run, since being tied at 10.

Bledsoe is in the game to match-up with his former Wildcat backcourt teammate.

Vinny using the 3 man rotation at F/C. It's for the best.

38-27 Clippers at the end of 1. Faltered in the last minute to give up 4 points in the final 16 seconds of the quarter. Bledsoe has been atrocious from the line. Aside from him, the rest of the team is 13 of 17 at the charity stripe. The Clippers committed 0 turnovers to start the game.

Back-to-back turnovers. Wizards score on both possessions. :(

It's after 4pm on Saturday, but the bank is still open for Blake.
