Exactly. Secondly, Mavs need to just post up DIRK instead of letting their PG pound the dribble for 15 seconds.

Considering we have shot 38% and have no points from Kidd or Roddy, down 6 is not too bad

We need to keep Bynum out of the lane, Chandler has to play better D

Dirk needs to work inside more and draw fouls. Marion keeping us in the game
Kobe scored 10 pts on 11 attempts - a good defensive effort.

Brewer and Terry are the key off the bench, they need to play smart

All of our PGs are getting frustrated. Our bigs are battling though and we're actually winning the rebound war. We were blowing open shots and lay-ups at the start but now their defense has tightened up and we're not getting those shots anymore. This game is pissing me off, I agree with ahonui though, Dirk's been a lot more effective after he's posted up.

I think we'll come back stronger after half-time, down by 6 is fine.

The sucky thing about Barea is that he's short but that doesn't translate to him being fast. Getting locked down by a guy 8 inches taller and not being able to make a mis-match out of it is kind of sad.

Though I guess it's forgivable if that guy is Kobe Bryant :lol:

If Brewer can consistently knock down that corner three, this team will be more dangerous. He will be a younger/better version of Stevenson. Last season with the Wolves he went a stretch of 33 straight games with a three pointer and knocked them down at 42%. If he can return to that form, he will get good mins, and Roddy will see his mins decrease. Brewer just brings more to the table overall.

Tyson Chandler has been soooooo soft against physical, bigger post players. When will dumbass RC realize this. Just let Haywood start in those situations and play more minutes.

DIRK could possibly even play the 3 against Artest if Mavs went really big with DIRK-Chandler-Haywood.
