Portland is now the 7th seed do you guys think the lakers should stay at 3rd and face New Orleans or do you guys not care who you face in the 1st round?

Reading the Mavs board is hilariously funny, every single post is DIRK this, DIRK that, DIRK should've, DIRK could've.........it's like nobody else plays for them.

Couple Notes

- LoVe LOVE LOVE Andrew Bynum, without him we lost this game.

- Andrew Bynum wiped our @$$ and cleaned it, Fisher with a dumb mistake blowing that layup like a moron that he is. Gasol always chokes misses an important free throw.

-Biggest key Dirk committed a key turnover and Jason Terry missing that easy 2 at the end got us the win.

- LAstly, Black Mamba. I think my heart dropped when he turned that Ankle, I thought he was done for the game and maybe gone for a few games. He came back in, hope he feels ok tomorrow morning. Ankle turn are no joke and can get worse since the pain hurts much more the next day.

All in all the biggest W of the year in my opinion, the Mavs are not going away. We have a huge rematch at Staples on 3/31 and i'm sure they'll be gunning for revenge. Right now Mavs are our biggest roadblock back to the Finals.

But good start tonight.
What? No cliff jumping tonight?

No the goal is to get the 2 seed, this gives us home starts until the conference finals.

Edit: I ain't scared of these guys one bit
Great minds think alike, but yeah them cats are just what their coach called them...soft, any team without a real interior game will never beat us.

as if teams dont pack the paint against us now? gasol doesnt have dirk range, hell he doesnt even have the range of bosh. gasol barely does enough to know to help open up the paint.

besides howard has a developed a nice little jumper/bank shot this year.

offense would not be a problem.

the point is our defense would be off the charts. it would more than make up for the loss of offense.

this is all speculation anyway, im happy with what we have and was simply posing an opinion.

its silly to say a howard--gasol duo would be >> than a howard--bynum duo imo.

When healthy, Andrew Bynum's nose for the ball brings to mind a rambunctious foxhound descending mightily upon his prey.

We controlled the tempo and the whole game pounded the ball inside.

I agree 100% with you, let's not get it twisted them two would blow the league away. Besides since when it was required for a PF to have "range" ? I've watched the NBA long enough to remember when power forward actually meant just that. No guys in the 70's or 80's who manned that position relied on jumper after jumper. It wasn't until the late 80's and 90's did the position change to what we see today.......soft bigs standing 7 foot tall shooting jumpers and 3's. To me it's a punk bitch way to play the PF. Drew and Dwight together would be a throw back to the old NBA C and PF combo...devastating.

Now what the hell is up with Pau only getting 5 funky ass boards ?

Deep, You of all people should know we dont wanna play the game where we can point out what Bynum and Gasol does on a single night. Bynum will lose that battle.

Already knowing that Big Game, but I've taken noticed that "that" crew has been AWOL since Drew went on his tear. But you're right some how some way it'll go to where Pau did something Drew didn't, but lately he hasn't done nothing of what Drew is doing.

Drew is beasting lately but lets see it for 30 games let alone 82. Plus playoffs!!!
