I honestly expected it to be a lot closer and maybe contested. This is a solid team and a lot of fun to watch. Hope Rudy gets back soon.

Great bounce back from the Grizzlies after the Miami game. That's the sort of character that a legit playoff team needs to show.

The Suns and Hornets lost. It is a good night for Memphis. Randolph has a great game against Griffin after an average game against the Heat. When they are on their pressure defence and forcing turnovers it makes it so much better for them.

The one thing I've noticed is Hollins is juggling the bench with 12 players getting playing time tonight. What do you guys think? I understand with the new additions, plus the fact that the starters have played so many minutes this season (like usual) and need to be rested for the final push that giving everyone a good look is important. But at some point he will need to pair it down and decide on a solid rotation if they make the playoffs.

I hear you. There have definitely been a few games where the rotations are a little "wtf." But I think that's partially a product of the fact that you:
A. Have new guys like Battier and Smith following the trade that you need to figure out and
B. Rudy's hurt so now is a time where you can work with some of the bench players because you need them to step up in Rudy's absence.
Anyway I think Hollins will pare things down about 2 weeks before the playoffs or if/when Rudy's 100%.

I for one miss the Hubie 10 man rotations. I think that's a great way to play but unfortunately the stars' egos are so high in this league you can't bench these guys long or they get into a tizzy.

It's funny how he balances the point guard position lately but otherwise I dont' see anything out of the ordinary. He finds time for Mayo but I'd get him a little more time and maybe cut back some of Sam Young - which is due to happen when Rudy gets back anyway.

As far as Haddadi and Powe they only getting garbage time now.
