your guys hate for D'Antoni is clouding your judgement. Its not even funny. Were not even the worst defensive team this year let alone history. Barkley just says these things to cause a firestorm.

This quote coming from one of the biggest defensive liabilities to ever play. The guy was allergic to defense when he played. But still talks smack. Haters gonna hate.

Hopefully that's a commitment to #7. We don't need any of that "unretiring a number" BS in the next offseason.

Barkley knows you can not win without defense... look at his career!

Honestly, I don't really care anymore. Let them sleep, unfortunately good teams don't see us the way Barkley does, or else we would have easier games ahead of us.

that's good to hear. billups looked totally out of sync yesterday. even with all his mistakes, over the last couple of games douglas did a better job of setting up the offense and finding melo/amare in their spots. that all disappeared yesterday. billups really has to learn this system quick. we need everyone practicing.

he does have a point.

our defense is horrible
we just dont have any bigs that protect the rim

in pick up games, im a short guy who can shoot it, and i can go to the hoop, but struggle when theres a 6'5 guy waiting at the hoop... playing aginst the knicks is liek playing against all my normal sized buddies and the biggest guy is 5'11 and not a threat to challenge me at the hoop

little off topic, but just demonstrating the point... everyone has confidence driving on us

thats the only reason im holding off buying a melo jersey... but i heard he cant even change numbers next season, he'd have to wait till the 2012-2013 season

any real knick fan has a goal to upset in rnd 1 and that will be considered a good season. Right now we are not a finished product at all, we can compete and maybe surprise a few teams, but no one in their right mind expects a ring this year.

I'm reluctant to buy anything that has to do with Melo till I find out if he will stick with number 7 or 15.

I mean i think, Philly plays much better D than us... actually, off the bat, I'd say the Twolves, NJ, and Detroit play worse defense than us, cant think of anybody else who immediately comes to mind.
