Actually....having watched Perk his whole career he can definitely set some decent picks but had an uncanny ability to get called for moving picks at the most inopportune moments. Seemed like once a game minimum.

As others have said, good at help defense and intimidation but pretty weak offensively. Hopefully you guys will use a similar defensive strategy as the Celts do to really maximize his value.

I think you all already knew you were getting someone who was offensively limited, but defensively solid, a decent rebounder, and just a big tough guy who can set screens and doesn't really care if he doesn't touch the ball on offense. Two things that he brings along with him that could help out the younger guys on the Thunder is a really great work ethic and a dedication to a team concept.

After watching perkins the past 2 games back since the injury, I am starting to question people perspectives on perkins offense. First off he is a center so the thunder don't need him knocking down 18 footers or even taken them, thats part of the reason they got rid of kristic. Perkins is a wide body , with great hands and a soft touch in the paint. He has shown flashes with work that he can be a solid offensive contributor with 14 and 10. He doesn't jump high but he uses his body well and has extremely long arms.

He is not going to be a guy that is going to command double teams but i think that he can be a solid low post player with his jump hook. If he masters that shot with both hands, watch out!!!!! In limited opportunities, he has shown that he can score in the post and he looks decent to me, better than kristic.

Krstic is far more skilled offensively than Perkins. Perkins doesn't have good hands, or touch. He'll get some buckets here or there, but there's a reason his turnover rate is astronomical.

Maybe it's just me but i've actually been impressed with Perk's offense when he gets the ball in the post. After all the Boston fans made it out like I would be better down there than Perk, it's been refreshing that he's not that bad.

Hopefully when he starts learning the offense we throw it down to him every now and then.

Um, he has 4 field goal atetmpts in two games, I've seen enough of Perkins to know he's not a reliable post threat....

i been impressed by his free throw attempt. it's not as bad as i thought, the liability to end game type.
