#171: PHI and GSW have a trade to announce:
(Pending approval of trade # 167)

To PHI: Josh Childress ($6,000,000)

Total: 6,000,000 * 1.25 = 7,500,000

To GSW: Timofey Mozgov ($3,343,896)
Chris Duhon ($3,500,000)

Total: 6,843,896

Deal works.

PHI accepts. We need a wing very badly and we didnt have to give up much to get it. Childress is a hard working, high basketball IQ type guy, and will fit in nicely with our team.

#172: PHI and DAL have a deal to announce:
(Pending approval of trade #167 and #171)

To PHI: Brendan Haywood ($7,624,500)
Rodrique Beaubois ($1,236,720)
Ronny Turiaf ($4,360,000)

Total:13,221,220

To DAL: Marc Gasol ($13,000,000)
Mason Plumlee ($473,604)
LAL 2012 1st round draft

Total: 13,473,604

Deal works.

PHI accepts. We lose gasol, but we felt he didnt fit in our system very well. Haywood is much better for what we are trying to do, and his talent isnt a huge drop off. Roddy B is going to be great, right now averaging 10 pts, 3 ast in 16 min, as a third option at best, and hes only 23! Nice dealing.

Dallas accepts, we got bored and could not land the wing player we wanted for a Roody plus package so we had to accept this. Gasol is one of the best young BIGS in the game so we had to do this. We liked Haywood but think his contract is a tad long for his age (but at a good price for the current). Turiaf's hustle will be missed but we like how the team is unfolding. I believe we are getting Mason Plumlee not Miles!

#173

Dallas and ATL have agreed to a blockbuster (contingent on other trades being approved)

Dallas will send
Tyson Chandler $13,000,000
Shawn Marion $ 7,725,932
Vince Carter $ 1,352,181
totals: $ 22,078,113

ATL will send
Joe Johnson $18,038,573
Grant Hill $ 4,000,000
Erika Dampier $ 854,389
totals: $22,892,962

Dallas gets the AS wing to compliment Dirty that they have been looking for the entire game. We are very sad to lose Tyson, but were not sure how he would respond to a backup role. We loved the D that him and Trix brought to our squad but had to do this deal. Grant was offered more money from us in FA so we are very pleased to be getting him and think he will do a fine job replacing trix on ourr 2nd unit.

* WOW, there have been some great NBA careers involved in this trade

Confirmed. VC still has more then enough juice to hold down the starting SG spot and we felt we needed a defensive anchor more then anything. We had plenty of scoring, we needed defense and Chandler is having a career year. Marion will start at PF and defend and rebound and play off the ball.

174#

ATL and PHI have a trade to announce.

ATL outgoing:
Chris Kaman $12,700,000
Shawn Marion $7,725,932
Randy Foye $4,250,000
CHI 2012 1st

PHI outgoing:
Andris Biedrins $9,000,000
Al Harrington $6,226,200
Nicolas Batum $2,155,365
Ty Lawson $1,654,440

We add a lot of talent here, and we feel that the price we pay is worth it. Lawson is a speed demon that has been doing big things since the Carmello deal and Batum is a long defender who can hit the 3 and is very young.

PHI accepts. Some may say I lose talent here, and although that may be true, we feel its worth it. Kaman is a guy that can really help our team offensively and defensively. Foye is a solid, young wing, and marion can play great D on our team. Plus we dump 2 big contracts.

Trade #175

Minnesota sends: David West($13,000,000) + Wesley Johnson($4,006,080) + Christian Eyenga($1,097,520) = $18,103,600

Atlanta sends: Nic Batum($2,155,365) + Ty Lawson($1,654,440) + Andris Biedrins($9,000,000) + Jermaine O'neal($6,226,200) = $19,036,005

Why for Minnesota? Well, we regret trading Batum and we took the chance to re-acquire him and also solidify our backup point guard spot and get a center who is a good defender and an excellent rebounder while also still being young.

Contingent on 174# being approved.
Confirmed. We get a 19/8 big in West who has experience playing with Chandler and is a dangerous pick and pop guy. Wes Johnson is a high upside SG who is long and can defend. The Harden of our team so to speak.

#176: LAL and PHI have a trade to announce:
(Pending approval of #174)

To PHI: Ryan Anderson ($2,244,601)
TPE (from Posey trade)

To LAL: Shawn Marion ($7,725,932)

Deal works with the TPE

PHI accepts. Although we lose some talent here, a 32 year old player being paid almost 8 mil per year was not good for a team looking to rebuild. Anderson is a much better fit, and like Marion, can play both the 3 and 4 positions. We cut over 5 mil in salary and get a younger player? Ill take that.

LAL Accepts. Marion brings defensive ability, versatility, rebounding and athleticism to our bench. He's having a good year, and running with Chris Paul will rejuvinate his final few years.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

2 part trade:

Part 1:
To PHI: TPE (From Posey trade)

To LAL: Shawn Marion ($7,725,932)

Part 2
To PHI: Ryan Anderson ($2,244,601)

To LAL: Cap Space

Part 1 works with the TPE, part 2 works as PHI has cap room after trading Marion.

Didn't know the previous trade I posted was an illegal trade. I edited it, and this is now correct. Sorry about the confusion, won't happen again.
