Also they never say he got in the street car or that he got kicked out of the street car. He just got kicked out of somewhere or something.

edit: Could block refer to something drumming related, anyone drum around here?

Theriddle said quickly sounds kinda like There (their whatever) is the first word which would acknowledge the They from the actual riddle.

Yea, i said the same thing around page 2. But i have gone passed that theory.

Because you're not allowed to eat chicken or play drums on a street car. Because 10 cents only goes 10 blocks. Because it was a drum of cocaine. Because everyone got kicked off. Because there are literally infinite answers to this question.

again, the answer has to be simple, so any sort of complex well thought out answer HAS TO be wrong.
anyone remember the scrubs riddle?
something like "I have 30 cents with 2 coins, one is not a nickle" and the answer was "one is a quarter, the other is a nickle"

Well he could have went the full 13 blocks and then reversed back until the 10th block...

Or he went 13 blocks and got kicked out of a place called "10th block"

Or he had another person with him and didn't have enough for both...

Why isn't there an answer for this yet???

That was my guess and no one even responded...I'm so happy that you came to the same guess though, you have no idea haha.

A street car is a trolley.

Fast forward to 1:33.

I see the driver. I see 2 other uniformed individuals. I also see a sign that says enter at rear.

Hint: I tell you the answer every time I say the riddle.

A man had a dollar. He spent 80 cents for a drum and 10 cents for 2 drumsticks. He gave a streetcar driver a dime to drive him 13 blocks. On the tenth block they kicked him out. Why?

In the riddle, the only factual info pertaining to the ride is WHO he gave the dime to. The rest is just confusion and non sense.

He gave a streetcar driver a dime to drive him

Hint: I tell you the answer every time I say the riddle.

He gave a streetcar driver a dime to drive him

I dont think you pay the driver. No one pays the driver in that video either.

Would be kind of stupid to pay the driver right? Just as stupid as it would be to spend 80% of you money on a drum.

Thats the only thing that makes any sense in the riddle. He paid the wrong person. So "THEY" kicked him out.

I responded. I wrote down "the riddle" and tried to find acronyms for it when the the topic was first started. theyre idle is something i wrote down but then there is a missing D. I messed with it for a little while and came to the conclusion that i was going no where with it. I honestly think its something so simple as he didnt have enough money for the entire fare. Thats why he was kicked out early.

Ive seen it happen on busses.

The man had a "dollar" and could not break it to pay for the ride.

I'm probably not breaking ground here, but the problem clearly lies in the fact that he paid a driver (singular), yet "they" kicked him out. Who is they? The other passengers? It doesn't mention any other passengers.

The only other objects in the story are the drum and the drumsticks. Isn't kick and a snare a famous saying? I know I'm grasping at straws here, but this is starting to piss me off lol.

I think Kane is on to something...other than that, I would not mind seeing this thread get locked and put out of its misery...it just keeps on coming back and still no conclusive answers. Lol...

Because the drum and drumsticks were "stolen goods"? (That's why he got them so cheap.) The police caught up to him at the 10th block?

First off, I loved this thread. Thoroughly enjoy this one.

The Streetcar "stopped on a DIME" Meaning stopped in a short distance or short amount of time. The Street Car STOPPED SHORT. 10 is short of 13.

The guy with the drumsticks and drum gave the driver a "dime" meaning a dime bag of weed to take him the 13 blocks. The driver finally had a chance on the 10th block to check out the stash, and it was crapola. So he kicked him off the bus.

That was easy. :D
