Wow nice trade, does it work? Imagine Barnes + Irving as draft picks...

I don't think either would fall as low as the Bucks pick, but we might be able to snag one of Kanter, Jones, Vesley, Henson, or reach for a kid like Thompson or Knight.

If the Bucks wanted I'd swap Gooden for Magette, or even Jennings for their pick

To TOR: Biedrins + Bell + Flynn
To GSW: Barbosa + Pekovic + MEM 1st
To MIN: Calderon + GSW 1st + TOR 2012 2nd

Toronto gets a C and young PG, draft Barnes and id be happy.

GSW lowers its salary commitment and get a nice combo guard in Barbosa for moving down

MIN gets another lottery pick

Flynn / Bayless / Bell
Derozan / Weems
Barnes / Klezia / Johnson
Davis / Amir
Bargnani / Biedrins / Alabi

I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

Although I don't like how Biedrins production has been lately, he's still a solid C.
I don't understand why we need Bell though, i'd rather have Thornton from GSW instead of Flynn (Although Flynn can play the 1, and Bayless can play the 2 if Weems doesnt come back).
Draft Irving (assuming if we get him)

Irving / Bayless / Bell
DeRo / Weems? / Bayless
Thornton / Kleiza / Johnson
Davis / Amir / Evans
Bargs / Biedrins / Alabi

If we manage to grab CDR or Jordan in the offseason, our team would be pretty solid.

Random idea

Bargnani to Milwaukee for their 1st and like Delfino/Dooling

Gives us about the #9 pick. Draft Jimmer with that and Sullinger at 5. Trade Ed Davis for Detroit's pick around #7 and take Terrence Jones/Jan Vesely

Gives us Jimmer, Derozan, Jones/Vesely and Sullinger. I'm down.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

I would definitely do the initial Bargs trade but I would not do any of the other stuff you suggest (though I'd be open to drafting Sullinger, whom I like).

I really prefer Ed to Sullinger, I don't think Jared's defensive potential is anywhere near Ed's level, and I don't think he's going to be the kind of dominant scorer he in now in the NBA. I'm down with trading Bargs to get Milwaukee's pick though.

Dooling + Delfino for Bargnani doesn't work under the CBA.

Maybe more realistic with BC's Bargs love. Draft Sullinger at #5 and trade Davis for #7 or #9 (Detroit or Milwaukee) and take Jimmer. So just Jimmer, Derozan, Sullinger + Bargnani for the time being. I think it'd a be a franchise changer either way to get Sullinger and Jimmer in the same draft

Their at 50.8 next year. Adding your deal puts them at 55 million with a lineup of

Jennings /
Salmons /
Maggette / Irsan
Bargnani / Gooden
Bogut / Sanders

I don't see it happening. They'd need to renouce all cap holds and it just doesn't look that good to me. Maybe something like:

Maggette + Delfino (unguaranteed,waived) + #9

For

Bargnani + Klezia

Would work better?

I would love to get the bucks pick. But I wouldn't draft Jimmer either. Assuming Kyrie and Barnes are off the board. I would take PJ or Dwill with out pick. Leaning towards PJ. With the Bucks pick i'd hope Kanter falls. Or i'd take BPA that fits a need.

I too would trade Bargs for a top 10 pick, but I don't think I would be using it to draft another rookie - unless we got who we absolutely wanted with our own first. Either trade up for a better prospect, or package Bayless and/or Amir for a higher impact player. If there really is a prospect who knocks our socks off though, by all means, draft him.

Just throwing some stuff out there.

Trade 1:
To OKC-
Andrea Bargnani
Jose Calderon
Linas Kleiza

To Toronto-
Serge Ibaka
Nick Collison
Eric Maynor
Nate Robinson

OKC gets out of Collison's horrendous contract while taking on Jose's who's is 2 years less. Bargnani's rebounding and defensive defficiencies are masked while playing beside guys like Perkins, Sefelosha, Westbrook and even Durant, who is a decent defender. This gives OKC 3 legit 20 point scorers while Harden continues his 6th man role of the bench.
With their 24th pick OKC can select rookie F/G Jordan Hamilton who will not need to play big minutes behind Durant.
With OKC being a desirable destination for free agents, they can sign a guy like Dalembert or bring back Nazr Mohammed.
IMO the addition of these vets put the Thunder in direct contention for a championship.

Toronto gets rid of players that are just not getting it done for them, at the price of taking on Collison's deal. They also get their starting center and their PG of the future.

C- Perkins/Dalembert/Aldrich
PF- Bargnani/Kleiza/Mullens
SF- Durant/Hamilton/Kleiza
SG- Sefelosha/Hardin/Cook?
PG- Westbrook/Calderon/Ivey

Trade 2:

To Phoenix-
Jerryd Bayless
Nate Robinson
TPE created 3.5 mil
To Toronto-
Steve Nash

Phoenix brings Bayless home and sends Nash home. Phoenix can look to trade Nate or work on a buyout and waive him.

Nash helps the Raps get better, leading them to the playoffs, while being a mentor to Maynor. Eric becomes the PG of the future for the Raps.
The Raps can select Harrison Barnes, if available. Bring back Weems and Dorsey on cheap deals.
Look to trade Barbosa.

C- Ibaka/Collison/Alabi
PF- A.Johnson/Davis/Dorsey
SF- Barnes/J.Johnson/2nd rounder
SG- Derozan/Weems/Barbosa
PG- Nash/Maynor/Barbosa

^^ yeah, I'd do that (assuming that God is ok with Salmons coming here now). Bogut is a legit top 5 C that can defend and play in the low post.

based on the idea of #5 + Bayless + Barbosa for Curry + Biedrins.

To TOR: Curry + Biedrins + Bell
To GSW: Bayless + Calderon + Alabi + #5

Raptors get Curry to play with Derozan.

Warriors get a nice fit beside Monta in Calderon whos a pass first guard and they get someone like Kanter.

Calderon / Bayless / Lin
Monta / Williams / 2nd rounder (Kris Joesph?)
Wright / #11 / Thorton
Lee / Udoh / Alabi
Kanter / Amundson / C(FA solid depth guy like Pryzbilla)

i would finish off our off-season with.

Jeff Green / Wilson Chandler being signed to a contract at about 9 million. I think they would both take the TE rather than losing them.

- trade Klezia for a backup PG + depth at C

Curry / PG
Derozan / Barbosa
Chandler / Johnson / Weems
Davis / Amir
Bargnani / Biedrins

sick team.

If we could some how get Bogut on this team... I think that Bogut would be the ideal and perfect big man to pair beside Bargs with his defensive and rebounding ability - considering BC probably won't look to deal Bargs. After this season, MIL might look to trim their payroll and get younger... we might be able to do something like this:

- TOR 1st round pick unprotected (probably 3-6 range) - they can probably grab Kanter or Valanciunas
- Barbosa
- James Johnson or Bayless

for

Bogut

If this could some how work, we could probably trade Davis for a 6-9 pick on draft night if we can get someone like Kemba Walker... we would have a pretty good team. We'd also have enough money to sign a legit SF like Chandler/Green/Young. I think this team could make the playoffs next year, and still be young enough to grow and improve together - a good balance of offence/defence with some veteran leaders.

PG Calderon/Walker (might even start if he proves to be good enough in training camp)
SG DeRozan/Weems
SF Chandler/Kleiza
PF Bargnani/Johnson/Dorsey
C Bogut /Johnson/Dorsey
