Mohammed is a legit NBA center. He's good enough to start on a real bad team and good enough to get minutes on a good team. If an 18-year-old with no NBA experience can dominate Mohammed, I'm definitely interested.

Apparently, Kanter has gone to college. When I asked which one, I was told STFU. <rimshot>

Kanter is certainly interesting. with his mid-grade hops, decent size, and alleged skill set, i don't think it's out of the question to consider him a brook lopez in the making. Given our lack of 7 footers with legit post moves, picking him up is certainly not the wrong move. the question becomes, is it the best move? i'd say so.

Huge block by Faried to end the game.

WOW. I thought he got fouled, but on the replay that seemed to be a pretty clean block. Morehead State up[sets Louisville.

Faried had 12 and 16.

Damn, I had Louisville winning a few-more games. 1st big upset. Props to Morehead.

It wouldn't surprise me if Morehead St goes against Richmond in the next round. Faried vs Justin Harper would be an interesting matchup.

Princeton leading Kentucky with about 10 minutes to go. Another substandard performance by Terrence Jones. He could slip a little bit - the way his stats have been falling. And he's got some skills. Maybe he's the guy it makes sense to look to trade up for.

Can anyone name the last team to win a championship without a good defensive player at PF and C? Pau Gasol, sure, but his height, length and defensive rebounding probably makes him an overall +. This is the no.1 reason I wouldn't draft Sullinger if he actually measures out as most expect. He might be very productive, but Zach Randolph has 0 'chips last I checked.

San Antonio - 2007 - Fab Oberto and Fern Elson at PF

Kanter and terrence Jones will definitely be there at our pick so i am ok with our first pick. Sullinger is fine if we get a second pick and he drops into the teens. Nice energy player off the bench in Carl Laundry Glenn Davis role.
But T.Jones is for real---unless perry jones shows me outstanding lateral agility or i see in a my work out that he can play like Kevin Durant i would probably pass on him. T.Jones is a winner with a swagger and confidence that forces others around him to play with intensity. I like him alot as you guys can see. I would take kanter over him. all the others top picks i would consider unless we moved our atl pick down in the low teens.

I really don't like Terrence Jones, and I watched a lot of Kentucky games, wanting to like him. His stats have been decent, but his shooting percentage is low. He has a terribly ugly outside shot, and isn't an overly efficient scorer. I do like Jones as a rebounder and defender. He has very good length, but I question his character. He has already been publicly ripped and benched for not running the play called by coach Cal, instad taking the final shot himself. If he's going to do that to Calipari, as a freshman in college, how is he going to respond to professional coaching. I also don't think Jones is athletic enough to have a physical advantage in that area in the NBA. He handles the ball well, so I guess that is something. Out of every player in the draft, Jones reminds the the most of Andray Blatche.

I've been calling for us to target T. Jones all year. This post was enough to change my mind immediately. Any mention of Andray Blatche as a possibility will turn me off like getting a whiff of a rotting sewer fart.

Man I hope Kanter pans out!

It really was amazing. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball ... caab-wp665

He ran out at the shooter and somehow completely stopped his momentum on a dime and had the body control and timing to go straight up, avoid contact, and swat it away.

He didn't respect the laws of physics. :D

Checking out draftexpress, Kanter has dropped to 8th and T.Jones down to 9, while Valanciunas is still up at #2. Barnes has risen up to 4. Singleton has dropped to 18. Markieff Morris is down at 24.

Watching the Florida game... Patric Young reminds me of Ben Wallace.

I'm not very impressed with BYU or Jimmer. BYU doesn't even look like a 3 seed, and if they're having trouble putting Wofford away, imagine when they play a real team in the next round.

As for Jimmer...great college player that will get man handled in the pros. Great shooter, but he makes some really bad decisions with the ball, such as shooting a fadeaway 3 in the last few moments of the 1st half or shooting it from 35 feet (even though he made it).

If we insist on keeping Blatche/McGee, I'd love a draft of Kanter and Singleton. Also 2nd round I like Justin Holiday.

I like the rotation at center with the bellow the rim down low skills of Kanter, and the high flying athleticism of McGee off the bench, as well as the physicality of Seraphin.

I like the offense/Defense mix and match potential of Blatche/Lewis/Booker/Singleton in the frontcourt.

I like the D of Holiday at SG to mix with the offensive Young and Crawford.

My next 2nd round choice (maybe we can acquire another?) is Hansbrough. Exactly the type of player and attitude we need off the bench.

Am I the only one left on the Perry Jones bandwagon?

To be fair to him...most of his teammates are awful. He is creating a bunch of opportunities for them. I think he can be a solid backup in the league with his shooting and toughness.

No sir. Perry Jones is my 1st choice from this class. I want a banger like Sullinger, but he's a little short to use a top 3-4 pick on. Perry is a freak and would set us at SF.

My choices for the Bullets in order:

1. P. Jones
2. E. Kanter
3. H. Barnes
4. J. Sullinger
5. D.Williams
6. Trade out

Best case scenario, we get #1 pick & trade down out of K.Irving & add a 2012 1st.

I agree with everything you said. Perry is 1st on my draft board, and while he's pretty raw right now, he has all the tools and has shown flashes of what he can do at Baylor. And the thing is Baylor isn't playing him right. They're using him as their PF/C when I thin he's best served as being a perimeter player. He'll set us at SF. And your draft board is the exact same as mines.
