If we want to win this game, the key matchup to watch is Pierce/Budinger.

I'm comfortable with Lowry/Rondo, Hayes/KG, Patterson/Kristic and to some extent Martin/Ray. Kevin Martin should be able to follow him around screens and atleast contest his shots. Ray Allen will put up points on the scoreboard but he isn't an isolation option and doesn't post up. The types of players that destroy Kevin Martin are guys who like to pound the ball on the floor and make plays.

Pierce is stronger and more savvy than Bud. Paul Pierce's deadly mid range game is going to give us trouble because Budinger isn't going to be able to keep him away from the rim AND contest his mid range shot at the same time. If Pierce keep hitting his shot, this is going to be a long night. There aren't alot of guys who are strong, can get to the rim and hit the mid range shot at a high rate in the league. Pierce is one of them. Additionally if they put Pierce in the post, we're going to have to force to double team him. The Celtics move the ball so well, once you double team them they will get an open shot.

Its a headache. Maybe we'll see some zone.

It's like the play by play guy is doing commentary for golf

As bad as Clyde is and as 'homeristic" as Bull is, we take them for granted. Paired with Bill, they really are one of the best commentary teams in the NBA.
