If you think it was fair, say it was fair. If you are like me and recognize it as part of the game, don't mention it at all. Just PLEASE stop with the posts about how other people need to stop this or stop that. It makes other posters feel like you feel right now reading this.
I'll post my opinion on anything thread related and try to keep it within the rules/appropriate. (I know I've been pushing it on that one lately though i.e. Slick)

Your post is hypocritical. You can choose to post or not post your opinion and I'll keep doing the same. My opinion was that the referees were fine this game and that I have disagreed with how other posters have viewed the referees this season. Unlike you, I never told anyone to stop posting anything, just that it was annoying for me to read as someone who believes that officiating has its way of balancing out. Unless you're Rutgers, thats an exception. :x

It's always easy to blame the refs, but in this case, if you look at the very last shot Danny took, he was hit on the arm and that prevented the ball from getting anywhere near the basket. There are a few situations when I cannot rationalize the officiating, and that was one of them, particularly because of the foul whistled on Collison the play before.

Classic "Refs are bad when we lose, and still bad when we win." Very annoying to read in the past couple game threads.

Good game from Tyler and why so many shots from Collison? And sadly, so few from PG

You do tend to come off as arrogant.

I didn't tell you to stop posting anything. The whole post was written to make you aware of how you were sounding to other posters. It's nothing personal, I just assumed you hadn't realized how you were sounding. Instead, you went right ahead and called my post hypocritical. I'm not sure what your thought process was there as I simply asked that you think about how others will react when they read your posts. Your response to my post made me angry within the first line. I'm honestly only trying to help you as your tone (as Miller4Ever put it, "arrogant") can be inflammatory.

As to the calls at the end of the game when Rose went to the line on a lot less contact than Granger got on the next play, I agree wholeheartedly that the officiating could have decided the outcome of the game and was biased. It's just that I've learned a little more each year that David Stern intends on taking the NBA to the realm of WWF (or whatever it's called now). The officials are going to make calls for big name players in big money markets. As sad as it is, I just accept that the games are not going to be called fair and try not to let it ruin the game for me.

It's rather easy to rationalize it actually. Rose was getting MVP candidate calls, which just happen. It's always laughable when it happens against your team but the truth is that these calls aren't uncommon.

The great thing is overcoming the whole mess of that situation.

But yeah, watching both those non-calls in the last second is incredibly amusing to me.
