GT: Warriors vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Sun Mar 20, 2011 7:15 pm

When: 8:30 PM ET, March 21, 2011
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

Image

VS

Starting Lineups:

Warriors:
PG - Stephen Curry
SG - Monta Ellis
SF - Dorell Wright
PF - David Lee
C - Ekpe Udoh

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Manu Ginobili
SF - Richard Jefferson
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Antonio McDyess

This is the last time we're going to see the Warriors this year and so far this year we're 3 and 0 against them. The key to beating the Warriors as always i stopping Curry and Ellis. We can't give Curry open looks and we can't let Ellis get into the paint.

Despite a sprained wrist DeJuan Blair will play on Monday.

Go Spurs!!

Wow, let's hope Timmy didn't break anything. Right now the last thing I care about is the actual outcome of the game.

Hopefully its nothing serious we can't afford to lose him.

On another note with Duncan gone for the game and Blair on the sidelines we're pretty thin up front. Good thing we're playing the Warriors, Jefferson should get plently of minutes at PF.

...via Twitter:
"Tim Duncan has a sprained left ankle, and will not return to tonight's game."

Let's hope it is nothing more serious than this.

Yep, hopefully he's only out for a couple games.

Splitter has been playing well tonight, hopefully he step up and fill that void left by Duncan.

Couldn't watch the game..
Two stats that i liked about Splitter: 14 reb and 3 steals.
Steve Novak being a great addition to our bench offense. It seems that he can't miss a 3..

With Tim and Dejuan out, i wonder, 10-day contract for Marcus Cousin??

The only positive thing about Tim and Dejuan injury is Splitter's minutes going up just before the playoffs.. Hope Tim's ankle is fine, cause if not..game over for us..

X-rays are negative. Hopefully it's only a handful of games and he'll be back well before the playoffs start. We should be able to hang onto 1st seed.

Pop will keep him out till the playoffs, no point risking it now, plus Tim can use that extra rest. Good thing we have such a buffer.

He would be a good option.

Splitter really played well. He did a great job filling in for Duncan.
