Assuming Washington ends up with a top 5 pick.

Would you trade Bargnani, Barbosa, Bayless and James Johnson for Rashard Lewis and the Wizards' pick?

I would, but I think the Wizards want to pair another lottery pick with John Wall....Durant-Westbrook stylez.

Definitely but I don't see why Washington would do it. They already have Andray "revolving door" Blatche.

Assuming the Kings don't get the #1 pick.

Ed Davis, Jerryd Bayless and Linas Kleiza to Sacramento for Francisco Garcia, Jason Thompson and the Kings' pick.

I like Thompson but he doesn't play defense and the Kings pick looks good. Don't mind Garcia either...but Ed? I'm skeptical of trading that guy.

I'll do a Andrea Bargnani, Linas Kleiza and Barbosa for Thompson and the Kings' pick though.

It would depend on how the lottery pans out though. I'd prefer a:

Barbosa, Evans and Wright/Kleiza to Detroit for Villenueva and the Detroit pick (without protection).

I don't know if the Pistons bite though.

anyone think the Pacers might go for this?

To TOR: Collison + George + Posey
To IND: Calderon + J.Johnson + #5

Collison / Bayless
Derozan
George
Davis / Amir
Bargnani

is a pretty nice young lineup, we fill 2 needs. They can draft Sullinger or someone like that to fill the PF spot.

Calderon
Rush
Granger
Sullinger
Hibbert

i like that for them + they would have their pick too. Dont know if they do that but thats interesting no?

I don't think the Pacers would go for it seeing as how George is their prospect and Calderon is less valuable to them than Collison. As a Raps fan I wouldn't do it either. I'd rather hold onto the pick and see who's on the board because if it's Barnes I'll take him and Jose over Collison and George.

pretty much what bboyskinnylegs said. Adding another young stud to our core should be the priority, and the top 5 pick along with BCs ability to draft well, we could be in for a treat. I dont even know if I would trade the pick for Steph curry.

what about this, pretty simple

To TOR: Flynn + Pekovic
To MIN: Mayo + Calderon + Cash (via TOR)
To MEM: Ridnour + James Johnson + #18 (pick returned)

MIN returns MEMs pick to them

* Toronto sends cash to pay for the difference that MIN takes. Because Toronto saves 4 million they contribute the full 3 million to MIN

Memphis gets what they wanted no? Pick is 3 places lower but they get a solid backup 3 point shooting PG which they need and a backup SF for Gay. they wanted Mcroberts + #15 essentially for Mayo. I'd rather this deal if I'm them

Minnesota gets a steady PG to teach rubio blah blah blah you know everything but Mayo brings SG help which they need + move Johnson to his natural position. Rubio/Mayo/Johnson/Love/Kanter is an exiting core and Calderon helps them win now as hr can start till Ricky is ready. They don't have their pick next year

Toronto turns Calderon + JJ into a young PG + young C who brings toughness, im assuming we draft a wing either P.Jones or Barnes so thats why i get rid of JJ because he doesnt have a role then. We pay cash to cover salary difference

Flynn / Bayless / Vet PG (min)
Derozan / Barbosa
Barnes / Klezia / Weems (2 million)
Davis / Johnson / Vet PF (min)
Bargnani / Pekovic / Alabi

I just like that team. It can get up and run, we have a core of players. Pek brings Evans toughness off the bench and is an actual C. We keep Barbosa and Weems because Klezia might not be ready, hes solid depth and good friends with Demar. Everyone gets minutes too and it's not over crowded but we have depth.

Calderon / Rubio
Mayo / Webster / Ellington
Johnson / Beasley / Hayward
Love / Randolph
Kanter / Darko / Tolliver

Conley / Ridnour / Smith
Henry / Allen / Vasquez
Gay / Johnson / Young
Randolph / Arthur
Gasol / ?

+ MEM pick.

Bargnani for Sacramento`s 4th pick

Why does Sacramento do it? Because Bargnani is a perfect fit
Sacramento
C- Demarcus Cousins
Pf- Andrea Bargnani
Sf- Omri Casspi
Sg- 'Marcus Thornton
Pg- Tyreke Evans
Thats a dangerous team. You are gettin 15/10 from cousins, 20/5 from bargs and 20 each from thornton and evans. Thats a playoff team to me

Raptors
Draft Derrick Williams with Sacramento`s pick, Draft either Harrison Barnes or Brandon Knight with out pick

C- Amir Johnson/Ed Davis
Pf- Derrick Williams
Sf- Harrison Barnes
Sg- Derozan
Pg- Jerryd Bayless

or

C- Amir Johnson/Ed Davis
Pf- Derrick Williams
Sf- James Johnson
Sg- Derozan
Pg- Brandon Knight

To TOR:
Greg Monroe
Ben Gordon

To DET:
Andrea Bargnani
Leandro Barbosa
Perhaps more???
THEN

To TOR:
Chris Andersen

To DEN
Linas Kleiza

Draft Barnes or T.Jones

C.Andersen/ Davis
Monroe/Johnson
Barnes or T.Jones/J.Johnson
DeRosan/Gordon
Calderon/Bayless

We build around
Monroe,
Davis,
DeRosan,
Bayless,
Both Johnson's
And one of Barnes/T.Jones.

ballislife wrote:If we could some how get Bogut on this team... I think that Bogut would be the ideal and perfect big man to pair beside Bargs with his defensive and rebounding ability - considering BC probably won't look to deal Bargs. After this season, MIL might look to trim their payroll and get younger... we might be able to do something like this:

- TOR 1st round pick unprotected (probably 3-6 range) - they can probably grab Kanter or Valanciunas
- Barbosa
- James Johnson or Bayless

for

Bogut

If this could some how work, we could probably trade Davis for a 6-9 pick on draft night if we can get someone like Kemba Walker... we would have a pretty good team. We'd also have enough money to sign a legit SF like Chandler/Green/Young. I think this team could make the playoffs next year, and still be young enough to grow and improve together - a good balance of offence/defence with some veteran leaders.

PG Calderon/Walker (might even start if he proves to be good enough in training camp)
SG DeRozan/Weems
SF Chandler/Kleiza
PF Bargnani/Johnson/Dorsey
C Bogut /Johnson/Dorsey

thats the only scenario that i would want bargs on our team. bogut/bargnani would be one dirty frontcourt. i would try and make moves after this to make a playoff run like signing a guy like battier or something

I don't understand why you guys would think about trading Ed, I know he can be a trade-able asset, but he's part of our core and now the future.

I dont know if the salaries are correct but how about,

TOR\GSW\MIN

Toronto Out: Calderon, Wright, Ajinca, Barbosa (2012 2nd round pick)
Toronto In: Curry, Pekovic, Amundson, Bell

Golden State In: Barbosa, Flynn, Telfair, Ajinca
Golden State Out: Lin, Amundson, Williams, Bell, (Future 2nd round pick)

Minnesota In: Calderon, Wright, Williams, (toronto's 2nd round pick), (GSW Future second round pick)
Minnesota Out: Pekovic, Flynn, Telfair.

If Toronto doesnt get top pick and draft irving, Curry is here to fill void; draft a SF.

Curry/Bayless / Bell
DeRo/ Bell / Bayless
Draft Pick/ Kleiza/ Johnson/
Amir/ Evans/ Amundson
Bargs/ Ed/ Pekovic

GSW: Able Ellis to perform pre-curry years once again. Gets a good shooter in bosa. Sign Thronton to a vets minimum.

Flynn/ Telfair / Law
Ellis/ Barbosa /
Wright/ Thornton
Lee / Vlad / Ajinca
Biedrins/ Udoh / Ajinca

MIN: Gets Calderon for Rubio hunt. Gets Williams, a scorer that can shine in GSW off the bench, Future draft picks for more assets.

Calderon / Rubio / Ridnour
Johnson / Ellington / Williams
Beasley / Williams / Wright
Love / Tolliver / Webster
Darko / Love / Randolph

would anyone do

Klezia + #5 + 2012 2nd for Gallo + #22

Calderon / Bayless / PG (#22 Josh Shelby, Nolan Smith)
Derozan / Barbosa
Gallo / Johnson / Weems
Amir / Davis
Bargnani / C (FA) / Alabi

- we could throw 6-7 million at C like Jordan.

I like Gallo, but I'm not sure I would prefer him to the upside of a Perry Jones/Barnes (or Irving/Kanter/Valanciunas)... I would do something like this though:
Mozgov+Gallo+Lawson for Bargs+#5. We address two positions of need with good young players. I think Ed and Ty would have some good chemistry together, and DeMar/Danillo would make a lethal scoring combo at the 2/3. Perhaps we could get lucky and land a solid C in free agency, but even if we can't we just need Mozgov to rebound and defend. I'd look to move Jose/Kleiza if at all possible. Nuggets address some of the redundancy they have with their players now, pair Bargs with Nene, and add a high lotto prospect as part of their rebuild post-Melo.

Mozgov/Reggie?
Davis/Amir
Gallo/Johnson/Kleiza
DeMar/Barbosa
Lawson//Bayless/Jose
