The Devil Rays are playing in Orlando this marks this first time Orlando has seen any MLB

Took my son on wed, had a great time. Nice night, good game, decent crowd.

Outdoors.......WOW.

No, I think this is just basically what it was meant to be.....which is an introduction to the Orlando market.

The Orlando market has been left untouched for 10 years. Until this season. Britehouse cable users were able to receive only 10-15 games per year. This year the # is like 67 TV games.

Last year the Rays were broadcast on 1080 am in O'town, but unless you lived within 5 miles of the station, you could not hear any of the games at night. 1080 has boosted it's signal finally, so it's a lot better than it used to be.

Now, if they would just broadcast on radio every game, we'd be in business.

This market will adopt the Rays as soon as they start winning (just like with the Bucs, it was a Dolphin market during the Buc bad years)......and which won't be that far off (the minors are loaded with talent, especially pitching).

I do hope the Rays keep coming as it was a well done event.
