I absolutely love it and wish the NFL would go to it, it is by far the best instant replay system.

Definitely agree. It should all be handled by a neutral party trained professional upstairs, every time. Head Coaches already have way too much to worry about. I have given McCarthy a lot of shyt for his lack of good challenging over the years, but it just shouldn't be a responsibility of his.

I think it'd be quicker, too. With all the cameras available in an NFL game, it shouldn't take more than a few moments to see if a foot was in bounds or a ball hit the ground.

In the history of instant replay I don't remember many plays that didn't appear to be black and white after one clear viewing from an ideal angle. All that mattered was the interpretation of the rule, something that wouldn't be an issue with whomever is doing the reviewing. I don't necessarily agree that adopting a better version of what the Big 10 does would even lengthen the games. As it stands each challenge from a coach is a commercial break.

RapSheet

Roger Goodell says teams are not allowed give playbooks to their draft picks. No communication. Yikes

This could actually have an affect on who teams draft. It would be more difficult to assimilate a dumb player in, than a smart one.

Yeah, the replays by the officials in the Big 10 almost always take less time than current NFL ones, the only time it takes a lot of time is if they need to verify a spot of a ball, if someone was inbounds, the time on the clock, etc... and there are maybe 5 or 6 different things to verify. Otherwise they are quick and efficient and for the most part they get all the plays right which is all anyone should want.

PriscoCBS Pete Prisco
Five teams already fined for contact with players during lockout. Those are the five that got caught.

All posturing and hyperbole. The season will be just fine.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Compensatory picks to be announced Friday, my best guess if we get a 4th for Kampman
