Summer Camp at John Stocktons House

Post#1 » by BringtheD » Tue Mar 22, 2011 12:37 pm

Please invite Devin Harris over for some coaching. I like his ability to score, plus he is a badger, he could use a new frame of reference for the position. I wonder how much stockton helped dwill out and if he would help out Harris.

Dwill was a rookie, Harris is a veteran all star who has played against the best for years. He doesn't have holes in his game knowledge. He is who he is talent wise.

If Harris is going to work on his game and want to improve over the summer, why wouldn't stockton see if he can't tutor him a little. Harris is not so veteran that he can't grow his game and learn something from a great, i think he'd be honored and stockton too has some motivation if he has to watch harris play.

He needs to work on his defense, man he's getting burned a lot.

I understand you POV, you're probably dead on, but it's worth a shot.

Stockton is only interested in enjoying his kids right now. I've never heard or read reports about his interest in coaching at any level. If you know of any references I'd be interested in hearing.

John is not mentoring a veteran Point Guard, Now what would be interesting if the Jazz did draft Jimmer and they sent him to stockton as a rookie.

I wonder if John may want to get some payback for his son after Jimmer's Cougars knocked Johns sons Gonzaga team out.
