From your 1999 Bulls:

Chris Carr

Corey Carr

Matt Maloney

Andrew Lang

Dedric Willoughby

That team was so bad I remember actually thinking at one time, "They need to play Dedric Willoughby more." The guy shot 35% from the field and barely had a 2:1 assist to turnover ratio. lol

i really liked matt maloney for some reason...

i guess he had a pretty good rookie year and i was unaware of the concept of flukes??

i also remember being furious that the 98-99 team would never get brent barry the ball because he was ALWAYS wide open camped out behind the three point line but apparently that was actually the worst year of his career so maybe they knew better than 9 year old me

i was also perplexed as to why keith booth didn't get more burn despite the fact that he was obviously unstoppable in nba in the zone 98

could we build a team using guys from those years (playing how they played during those years) that could compete with this year's team?

You can try, theoretically.

Ugh. Dark dark days in Chicago. Can't believe I wasted so many hours on realgm with such a pathetic hopeless day. Always dreaming wishing, and praying that one day we'd have a team like we do now....

Hey now, if we'd just stuck with the 3C's long enough, they would have made us proud. Krause told us so. 8-)

Matt Bonner. the long-lost brother of Brian Scalbrine, never played a second for the Bulls and yet he brought for the Bulls a solid player for a few years in Chris Duhon.

And let's not forget Brent Barry, Corey Benjamin and Randy Brown.

Seems like just yesterday when I joined BBB.net and heard everyone hyping up the next big thing at shooting guard, Eddie Basden.

What a bust that guy turned out to be. lol.
