The Suns with the almighty J-Rich/Hedo duo had a 12-13 losing record, as opposed to the current 35-34 winning record.

If that Seth guy hasn't changed his opinion by now, the only thing he looks like is another lost fan trying to make excuses.

With that being said, whether it's injuries or just lack of balls/attitude, Vince is just as pathetic as Hedo was and it's high time to reduce his role/playtime.
Coming off the bench as a 6th man would allow him to be more usefull, but even if he doesn't wanna do it and slacks off the bench, it wouldn't even hurt to leave him at home, start Dudley, and give his playtime to Pietrus/J-Chill.

There is no chance Turkoglu would have missed all those shots Carter missed. Bottom line.

Hell, Turkoglu daggered the Lakers in November.

While Carter is a worthless vagina, Turkoglu was cold-blooded.

I can't believe people could still argue the merits of the trade when taking Gortat out of it.

Hedo has had his fair share of stinkers as well and lost games for us as well, if he stuck around it wouldn't have hurt to bench his sorry ass either.

Bottom line is that the Suns have a better record now then pre-trade and lose Vince's contract next year instead of being grounded with Hedo's contract for next few years, on top of now having the best Center the Suns have had in ages.

I can't believe anybody would like to still have Hedo on the team

Alll the contract stuff aside, from a pure on-the-court standpoint, there's no possible way anyone could argue they'd rather have Carter over Turkoglu.

Whatever. All in the past. Vince blew last night, and quite possibly blew our playoff hopes too. Done deal. Lets move on.

Hedo over VC as a player any day. But VC over Hedo for money reasons.

Anyone think Kobe stepped out of bounds before releasing the ball on that feed to the Gasol "foul"?

Does anyone else think that Gortat might be the Suns best center... ever?

i mean... there was Shaq for a year. But... who was better? Mark West? Big O? Amare... who was a PF. kinda the same with Alvin Adams.

He's better than Hot Rod Williams, waayyyy better than the Jakes... Longley, Joe Kleine, Danny Schayes.

what do you guys think? (this might be the wrong thread)

He could be better than those guys in a few years if not already. He's still only 26.

Yeah he may if we don't count Amare as a Center. We've never really had a legit center. Shaq and Longley at the tail end of their careers doesn't count.

KT was a good defender and could hit that short jumper really well. and i liked the way he set picks, but i still think Gortat is better.

The center position in the suns history has just always been weak... Its just kind of shockingly hitting me right now. i think Gortat is the best center we've ever had. hmm... cool.

Mark West was a legit center and very under rated because he didnt score much more than put backs. He also could look at a player wrong and pick up a foul for it. But he could belly up on any of them.

Adams was so good. PF or C... didnt matter, he handled both. I know most of you missed those days... but they were equally exciting as what we have had the last 4 or 5 yrs. The OK Kid had serious hops, a dead eye from 15-18, and was a great passer. He played D, rebounded... what a player, and a lifer to boot. He would still play in today's game... though likely a PF.

I think THE GORTAT has finally given us back the long lost legitimacy in the post.
What ? Me Worry ?
