We probably traded you our three most clutch players.

He had his problems tonight, but he came up big when it mattered the most. I even got P'd off when GK brought Kmart back in instead of Gallo down the stretch. I am not sure why he didn't get much playing time in the 2nd half, but I guess I can't really question the end result.

awesome win.
we lose by 20+ pre-trade if the spurs come out that hot. it was unbelievable the rate they were making 3's at. hung in there, fought back, defense got better as the game went on, and ended up pulling it out.
loved the chandler step back too. that was classic melo offensive foul territory, except he didn't push off quite as hard.

What a great game, although I was physically ill watching the last few minutes. How 'bout Harrington? Have to give the guy credit when he plays that well. We should be able to rest Afflalo and perhaps Felton for the next 3 games. What exactly was the deal with Nene's FT shooting tonight?

Great win guys, as I said in the knicks forum Karl is keeping his word that he'll finish the games with the guys that are playing D. and it paid off chandler had a amazing game on the defensive end and knocked down the gamer winner.
Martin stepped up his D too.
Btw nene is such a vagina... Grown a pair dude... You missed a FT so what? make the next and keep rolling to the basket to open the lanes for your pg...

Nene has looked off since being so frustrated in that Orlando game by Dwight Howard. He needs to get his confidence back in these next 3 games. And he will need more than 3 shot attempts in order to get that.
Gary Neal is such an annoying player to play against. Guys just repel away from him right before he gets a pass for a 3. Spurs find yet another great role player out of nowhere.
Solid play down the stretch. After a win like this, I really want to keep this team intact for a year or 2 and see what they can do with all this depth and competition. Its interesting to see a pro team go with the guys that are having good games down the stretch as opposed to just you're "best" overall lineup. Its nice that if anyone is having an off night, others can easily make up the slack.
Good to see Al picking it up. When he is on, he is one of the tougher covers in the league. He just needs to drive and post up on a more regular basis.
Tough shooting night for Wilson Chandler but the more I see him the more I like him. Plays tough defense and made some clutch plays down the stretch.
Anybody know what happened to Bird? I know he was playing bad but he only played 5 minutes...

Harrington's shot is what happened to bird. Spurs had no post game so GK didn't play him in the 2nd half.

Chandler was big. AL came on at the right!
Felton is a stud! Really need to rest his ankle for the playoff.

Chris Tomasson via twitter wrote:Al Harrington said he "took some things personal'' when he got a DNP-CD last Saturday at Miami. Since then, he's averaged 21 pts in 2 games. Harrington said the Miami game made him realize he's "got to play with a chip on my shoulder.'' He had 27 points Wednesday against Spurs.
Karl can really play (or not play) players that he wants more out of, even veterans right now with the depth on this team. This depth and competition should help get the best out of everyone on the team. Hopefully it continues to work come playoff time. We can just kill teams second units on just about any night.
Oh and Ty kinda killed it tonight, 12 points, 7 assists and 5 boards in 30 minutes with no turnovers.
oh and then there was this...

Love that Harrington got the message, personally that has been one of the best things since the trade, most of these guys realize if you want minutes you have to earn them, no half assing it on the court anymore.
It was a great win, especially with the way the Spurs were hitting those shots in the 1st half even with a Nugget right in their face.
