I hate...yes HATE Doris Meow. How pathetic is it to have a guy do that with more than 4 minutes in an NBA game, much less STARTER minutes! And he tells Silas after the game that he was never open so he always passed the ball. :nonono:

So for the remainder of the season, as we tank, let's use Doris as a 6th man. I think that is possibly his best role, and the role a good team might want him for via trade next season. Develop our young ones, but clearly hitch up the treads and TANK!
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Exciting game thread, but it looks like the actual game... not so much.

I think we should allow our game threads to be "no holds barred" and invite other teams to come talk trash in them. It might be the most exciting part of Bobcats basketball over the next season or two.

Also i'm sorry if anything I said was construed as trolling, that wasn't my intention, and you guys have alot of awesome posters here, that deserve better than some of the moves management has made. However some posters here do fly off the wall with the really insulting scrub talk and put downs of other teams, which seems really petty when talking about a team that has swept the season series, 3 of the games coming before the trade your board though and I shouldn't have reacted.

Also ignore pacersrule, he's a pure troll, and not a nuanced one at that.

Hopefully you guys have some lotto luck, this draft may seem top heavy, but there are always a few players that will suprise from the mid/ late lotto. The number 10 pick has been money actually historically, and hendo looked alot better than I thought he would, I guess LB really was holding him back to a huge amount, I liked him coming out of Duke, but was disapointed by his rookie campaign and the early part of this year.

If you guys do happen to draft a future star in the you have the makings of a nice starting lineup, especially if Tyrus Continues to realize his potential, which is still ridiculously high if he goes all out with his athleticism. Also you guys really need a PF in the worst way, no shots from boris diaw? I mean the assists are nice but you need to be at least a token threat to score the ball. Perry Jones would look pretty nice at the four, particularly since he wouldn't be replacing someone that is that physical in the first place in Diaw, and even if he ends up being a 3 in the NBA Jackson could be moved for a solid four once he's due to expire.

I don't think your future is as dim as the guys at ESPN (though the homer in me doesn't mind them predicting us as the 7th best future :P ) would have everyone believe, but at this point tanking needs to happen, because you need that one elite piece to build around.

where do the pacers go from here though? that team, even as it matures isnt good enough to get out of first round without a massive upset. and what happens when collison, tyler and hibbert come due for extensions? i've never been sold on granger as a go-to player. i think he is at best a number 2.

all that being said, i think the pacers should at least be in contention for that 6-8 seed for the next few years, enough to keep the fans happy for a while, the arena filled and the media at bay.

i dont see that team getting any higher than 6 seed in next few years as constructed.

Well, they do have s**tloads of cap space this summer
