Oh no a Marcus Fizer comparison! Don't let that one get out there.

I see where he's going with the "power 3".

If we are keeping Bargnani, we definitely need a power 3. Bargnani can just let the PF & SF do all of the rebounding.......he'll average 2rpg & score his 22ppg.

You'd waste a top 5 pick on a good role player? :-?

Watching DWill tonight, if Pierce can play the 3, so can this guy. Hopefully he slides a couple of spots and we luck out in the lottery and move up a little. No way he's there at 5. Im still unsure about Barnes.

Chad Ford had a few tweets about D-Will tonight...

Just got off the phone with a GM. His comp for Derrick Williams? Tougher Danny Granger.

Scouts torn on whether Derrick Williams is a 3 or a 4 in the NBA. I think it just depends on the system.

he definitely moved up in a lot of rankings tonight. Kyrie was still terrific with 28 pts. He didn't do much to help or hurt his stock in the tourney, but a lot of other players have. This will be a pretty interesting draft.

If we're drafting somebody to play alongside DeMar he's gotta be able to hit the 3 ball. No questions asked.

Williams can hit the college 3 but I'm not sure if his range will extend to 24+ feet. Chris Bosh was 48% 3-pt shooter at Georgia Tech but he can't make them in the NBA. Derrick is a good shooter but I can't see him making a lot of 3's with athletic, long NBA SF's guarding him. Barnes vs. Derrick Williams would be another potential great Final Four match-up. UNC isn't a good defensive team but I think they would match up pretty well against Arizona.

Kemba soccer flop:

I just noticed Eric Gordon in the video at 1:00. His reaction is pretty funny.

Top three hasn't changed in weeks... Irving, Williams, Walker.

Recent NCAA play has me a lot more excited about the upcoming draft and our prospects of getting a possible star at 5.

Originally I had only really been bullish about Irving, Barnes, or Perry Jones, but now I'm coming on board with Williams. And with Sullinger a likely top 3-4 pick, one of those 4 should be there when we pick. Hell, someone might even take Walker which would give us the choice of a couple of those guys.

Williams is really showing some star power here. The block to seal the Memphis game, the And1 to beat Texas after being locked down by TT, bombing Duke...

The 4/3 thing worries me less with him. One, because he's the star on his team. Defenses key in on him, he's seen doubles and triples all year and still come out incredibly efficient. He's not option 2 or 3 living off a mismatch. Two, because he was an SF in high school. Three, he's likely to outproduce most players at whatever position he plays.

I think Irving showed why he's the #1, too. There's not too many players in the league that can keep their dribble alive in the paint like that (and make a play). It's extremely important. I think too often we praise guys who can burst into the paint, but those guys are easily adjusted, too. It's much harder to stop a kid who can dance in the paint and can take advantage of the angles.

Walker would be cool at wherever we pick too. The plays that he makes are NBA type plays and his defense is pretty good too. His only problems would come against NBA shot blockers. He's way too short to get a layup against some of these guys.

I actually thought this draft was garbage before I watched these march madness games. People change Jack Mosley.

I'm a little more concerned about position, though I see him working in certain systems. Could he replace Granger or Jeff Green (OKC) and step right in? Yeah. Nothing about him screams fluke, absurd efficiency and his offense isn't predictable. His ability to score is very impressive because of the double and triple teams. This isn't a skill that's suddenly going to go away.

Wlliams and Irving both look like they're going to be great NBA players. All the winning we've been doing will guarantee we get neither.

With Williams I think he can play the three. He's got a good handle for a F and decent range I think hes a bit like a Shawn Marion type.

I think he and Kemba are ahead of Perry Jones for me. Jones scares me. The more people talk about his upside, the more I see a player a lot like Bargnani.

Barnes is my pick for a bust, don't like his offensive game at all, and while he's got nice length, foot speed is a concern. He sounds like Marvin Williams to me, which is a good pick outside of the top 5, but I don't see him as a better prospect than Walker/Williams, both of whom I feel have star potential plus killer mentalities. Irving is steady, good, not sure if he'll be a top 5 PG in the league at any point though.

I think the draft is going to be 1. Irving, 2. Barnes, 3. Williams so in other words we better move to the top 3.

Nothing wrong with pickig 5th in this years draft. No one jumps out as a consensus #1. I hope Walker and Sullinger play well the rest of the way.

We don't even know yet how impressive the euro guys will be when they work out for teams.

Irving, Barnes, Williams, Sullinger: only one of them has to slip and we get 'em if we don't drop in the draft, and a consolation prize of picking from Walker, Fredette, Valanciunas, Kanter may not be so bad after all. maybe Walker can play his way into the top 4 and one of those guys falls to us. or Valanciunas gets picked early.

Amazing game for Arizona and Derrick Williams. Hard to find the right comp for him. Better version of David West? Tougher Antawn Jamison?

Better than David West? Tougher than Jamison? That's not too far from perennial all-star territory.

Non-franchise impacting type, all-star territory
